Maybe Bryan Singer Could Get a Job at a Car Wash to Help His Present Employment Situation?

It would definitely be a step up from working for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel in an "As Needed" basis, wouldn't it?

And it would definitely be step up from directing such sitcom nonsense as "Mockingbird Lane" and ice cream commercials. What do you think?

"Pop" Open The "Champagne" Bottles And Pass Around The Party Favors!! Bryan Singer Has Signed On to Direct Another Movie He Will Eventually Abandon!!

When will Bryan Singer abandon "X-Men: Days of Future Past?"

Time will tell!!

The Official Bryan Singer List of Abandoned Productions

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

3. The Munsters (TV series)
4. Logan's Run
5. Excalibur
6. Bob Fosse mini series (HBO)
7. 2012
8. Sellevision
9. X-Men: Last Stand
10. Jack The Giant Killer
11. Star Trek
12. The Prisoner
13. Wolverine 2
14. X-Men 3
15. Aim High
16. X-Men: Days of Future Past (Abandonment Pending)

It wouldn't take Albert Einstein to realize what has and is going on here. Bryan Singer is (in my astute opinion) finished as a Hollywood film director, and "Superman Returns" did it to him. Obviously, "Valkyrie" (his last theatrical film of five or six years ago) was allowed to be made before the aftershocks of "Superman Returns" began to close doors for Bryan Singer (as a theatrical director) all through Hollywood. Singer apparently keeps announcing all of these movies he never ends up making, to give the unconvincing impression that he is still in the "game" in Hollywood as a theatrical director?

The fact of the matter is, Bryan Singer's career (in my astute opinion) has been downgraded to television since the failure of "Superman Returns." He is spending more and more time at NBC-Universal directing boring television pilots for them ("The Munsters"), re-announcing the "Battlestar Galactica" movie every two years with Universal Studios as a sick joke, and conceivably is in a holding pattern career wise at NBC-Universal waiting to be placed whereever NBC-Universal needs him in their television division (NBC-TV, SyFy Channel.) If the SyFy Channel needed a last minute director to direct one of its low budget, weekly monster movies, Bryan Singer would probably jump at the chance, using a pseudonym as a screen credit of course. Because Bryan Singer is jumping at anything and everything in television right now in order to keep working. "Magnum Gold Ice Cream" commercials, the "Munsters" television pilot, etc. Let's also not forget that the only two projects Bryan Singer completed this year was the "Munsters" television pilot, and the long forgotten "H+" mini series on http://www.youtube.com. Is "H+" still posted over there?

What Hollywood film director with legitimate clout would immediately abandon the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he announced in October 2011, in order to direct the "Munsters" pilot for NBC-TV? That would be quite a downgrade in salary for a supposedly hot Hollywood film director, wouldn't it? Yet Bryan Singer did it because he really didn't have a "Battlestar Galactica" movie to direct as he claimed in October 2011, and he really isn't a Hollywood film director anymore.

Bryan Singer currently has 15 abandoned projects (in a row). Most likely these projects were never in the pipeline for production in the first place. And it can easily be concluded that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will either not get made at all, or someone else will direct it. If only one or two of those projects out of the 15 total never got made, I would think nothing of it. But all 15?? In a row?? There is a pattern of some sort at work here, of career immobility for Bryan Singer. And now Bryan Singer is in the process of adding "X-Men: Days of Future Past" to the list.

What Bryan Singer's list of 15 abandoned projects tells me (in my astute opinion), is that he does not have the financial backing from anyone in Hollywood to let him direct another theatrical film. Thus, Bryan Singer has dropped down to directing miscellaneous, rather boring projects for television. Sitcom pilots, ice cream commercials, silly stuff for http://www.youtube.com.

I also find it very interesting that Bryan Singer is the only director in Hollywood to make so many press releases and announcements claiming what he is supposedly doing from one moment to the next. As if Bryan Singer always has some need to let the general public know what he is supposedly doing from one moment to the next. Joss Whedon doesn't feel the need to do this, James Cameron doesn't feel the need to do this, Shaun Levy doesn't feel the need to do this. Only Bryan Singer feels the need to do it. I wonder why!!

When Universal Studios And Bryan Singer Re-Announce This Movie in October 2013 (And Proceed to Not Make it For The Fourth Consecutive Time...)

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

August 3rd, 2012 P-P-Press R-R-Release!!

...The least they can do is try to be more convincing beyond the initial press release to (at the very least) give the vague impression that the movie is indeed in production!!

Here are some suggestions!!

1. Don't put Bryan Singer in front of a camera ever again to talk about Battlestar. He "STUTTERS" too much!!

2. If you really don't have anything new to report a year after the scriptwriter (John Orloff) had been hired to write a script. Come up with a better lie other than..."The script is going thru revisions right now."

3. Stop assuming that the public is too stupid to realize that a movie should be much, much further along 1 year after its announcement, with some lame-a** lie that the script is only going thru revisions 1 year later. This movie should be filming right now if it had been really in production (all of this time) according to the start date in the first press release.

NBC-Universal is a Corporation of Extremely Limited Intelligence When it Comes to Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica"

NBC-Universal is also (in my humble opinion) an extremely dysfunctional corporate family of "collected massively deficient imaginations" only capable of producing...

1. Trash talk shows (Maury Povich)

2. Boring remakes (Mockingbird Lane)

3. And one of the worst attempted re-boots of a classic television series in history. Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" series (his lazy take on "Battlestar Galactica") turned out to be nothing more than...

a. A low budget romp through on location filming in beautiful, downtown Vancouver.
b. Contemporary business suits, vehicles, and sunny skies trying to be passed off as "alien planets."
c. Senseless violence against women and others.

Even Glen A. Larson labeled Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" series as suffering from...."lazy writing."

NBC-Universal is also so screwed up as a corporation at the corporate level, that they fail to see the business wisdom in making a movie based upon the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series in order to compete with J.J. Abrams ongoing "Star Trek" movies based upon the "1966 Star Trek" series.

There is big business ($$) in nostalgia. Which is what NBC-Universal (the dysfunctional home of Bryan Singer, Ronald D. Moore, and Maury Povich) will always fail to see.

Perhaps Bryan Singer Can Take Solace in Viewing This While Reflecting on His Ever Dwindling Career

Bryan Singer's ever dwindling career is not "tiny" in God'e eyes...because there is never anything "tiny" in God's eyes.

Is Bryan Singer Hoping For an Additional 13 Episode Order For "Mockingbird Lane?"

So, he will have employment for an additional 13 weeks?

Sometimes when you drop so many projects so quickly, the unforeseen outcome is you suddenly no longer have loose change coming in, forcing you to tap into your investments to maintain your quality of life.

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

3. The Munsters (TV series)
4. Logan's Run
5. Excalibur
6. Bob Fosse mini series (HBO)
7. 2012

Brandon Routh Owes Everything to "Superman Returns??"

http://omg.yahoo.com/news/brandon-routh-owe-everything-superman-194235560.html

I'm just curious here. What exactly did Bryan Singer's "Superman Returns" movie do for Brandon Routh's career? What has "Superman Returns" done for Brandon Routh's career? The movie was widely criticized by critics and Superman fans alike, there were no sequels to this movie, Warner Brothers was deeply disappointed in the movie, and Brandon Routh's next project immediately after "Superman Returns" was the "Direct-to-DVD" low budget stinker..."Dylan Dog".....

I guess if you were in a widely criticized movie like "Superman Returns", and you end up in a prime time series 6-7 years later in a guest starring role, I suppose in a massively roundabout way you could credit "Superman Returns" for landing you that prime time role.

I'm just curious again. What has Brandon Routh been doing in between "Dylan Dog" and landing this prime time role? Dinner theater?

The Bad Habits of Universal Studios & Bryan Singer Haven't Changed in a Decade...

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

August 3rd, 2012 Press Release

...They make their (now more frequently) bi-ennial "Battlestar Galactica" movie announcements, and then they (Universal Studios & Bryan Singer) walk away from these announcements as if they never said them, hoping that the passage of time will fade everyone's memories of these announcements.

I think it's a safe bet that both Universal Studios & Bryan Singer have never heard of videotape, and are completely oblivious to the fact that their press releases are preserved forever on videotape everytime they walk away from these press releases of theirs.

Universal Studios & Bryan Singer continue to do the equivalent of letting their dog run loose in the park and walking away from the dog, and not accepting ownership responsibility for the dog.

I Would Say That This is The Perfect Metaphor For Bryan Singer's Career, And Universal Studios Attitude Towards "Battlestar Galactica"

And We Reach The 1 Year Anniversary of This Press Release From Universal Studios And Bryan Singer!!

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

Well, this was a fun year, huh? Sitting back and observing what Universal Studios and Bryan Singer always do after they make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie announcement such as this one.. Sitting on their rear ends and not making this movie they announced. Would we expect anything else from these two "Hollywood Do-Nothings"? Of course not!! If anyone is keeping track, this is the third consecutive time (in a decade) Universal Studios and Bryan Singer announced this production and failed to deliver on the goods. 2001, 2009, and 2011.

Bryan Singer tried to come back on August 3rd, 2012 and project some "vague stuttering illusion" that this movie was in fact moving forward, but he failed miserably.

I think it's safe to say that Universal Studios and Bryan Singer are two of the worst entities on the face of this Earth that could have anything to do with "Battlestar Galactica."

Remember The Good Old Days When Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" Series Was a Low-Rated Flop On The SyFy Channel?

...And David Letterman's audience still didn't know what the hell the show was (even at the beginning of the low-rated fourth season)...So they were laughing at the "GINO" cast members instead of laughing with them during the "Top 10 List?"

This was one of the many examples of when the SyFy Channel's "Stealth Marketing Machine" didn't know when to quit, and properly lay this low-rated series to rest.

Why is Aaron Douglass (Chief Tyrol) keeping his head down in obvious embarrassment? I think I just answered my own question.

When "The Munsters Halloween Special" Airs On NBC-TV This Month...

...It will be interesting to see who actually directed it. Even if Bryan Singer is listed as the director of this thing in the opening credits, the fact remains that this is the only project he and Universal Studios have produced together after being in informal partnership together for 11 years, since 2001...

...Beginning with the aborted "FOX-TV / Battlestar Galactica" pilot days...

Revising My Predictions For Bryan Singer's Career

http://www.syfy.com/movies

http://lowbudgetfilms.net/index.html

My Current Prediction For Bryan Singer's Career

1. His name will always be attached to every new "X-Men" movie as a "Producer." But since most movies nowadays have half a dozen producers at the very least, his role would probably be more of a "Consultant" position.

2. Presently, Bryan Singer is in a very odd position, career wise. He is hovering in between the long list of movies / TV productions he announced and never made...

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

3. The Munsters (TV series)
4. Logan's Run
5. Excalibur
6. Bob Fosse mini series (HBO)
7. 2012
8. Sellevision
9. X-Men: Last Stand
10. Jack The Giant Killer
11. Star Trek
12. The Prisoner
13. Wolverine 2
14. X-Men 3
15. Aim High

http://www.grantland.com/blog/hollywood-prospectus/post/_/id/35894/does-excalibur-wolverine-2-x-men-first-class-director-bryan-singer-really-want-to-make-movies

...leaving behind the big-budget Hollywood spectacles he used to direct (X-Men, X-Men 2, Superman Returns [the flop])

...and leaning towards being a permanent employee of NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel where he does whatever they need him to do:

1. Directing the "Munsters Halloween Special" airing this month on NBC-TV.

2. Making his Bi-Ennial "Battlestar Galactica" movie announcements for Universal Pictures. The movie he has never intended to make since 2001.

3. I predict that Bryan Singer will direct a horror movie or two for the SyFy Channel under a "Psuedonym."

Let's also not forget that Bryan Singer directed a series of "Magnum Gold Ice Cream Commercials."

It's also safe to say that Bryan Singer will also be leaning towards "consulting" on various low budget movies.

I think it's safe to say that Bryan Singer's career is bouncing all over the map right now because the failure of "Superman Returns" did him in as a big-budget, Hollywood spectacle type director.

You never know when or if what type of project Bryan Singer will complete next (and in what behind the scenes position), yet it's safe to say it will be safely within everything I outlined above.

The constant chameleonic nature of Bryan Singer's career right now is what I believe to be the on-going after shocks of the failure of "Superman Returns."

Bryan Singer's "Jack The Giant Killer" is Now "Jack The Giant Slayer"

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=96013

This movie (delayed by Bryan Singer for at least a year) has been tied up in post-production for so long it's now experiencing signs of ageing before it's ever released in theaters.

1. A new title
2. A new release date (after previously scheduled release dates)

Seems like a new "Tummy-Tuck" and "Face-Lift" for this never released movie, doesn't it?

What's next? The five year anniversary of Bryan Singer delaying production for at least a year? Long before it ever reaches theaters!! Would the cast and crew even bother to show up in their white ties and tails for that little shindig?

Will this movie in fact, ever be released?

Does The "Press Release Department" of Universal Studios Adhere to The Mormon Faith?

http://www.mormonwiki.org/Lying_for_the_Lord

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

August 3rd, 2012 Press Release

Combine these two press releases with the fact that this movie hasn't been made by Universal Studios and Bryan Singer in 11 years despite their numerous, combined press releases such as these two dating back to 2001.

Now, this post isn't intended to slam anyone's religion in any way. The intent is to come up with rational explanations as to why this production hasn't been made in 11 years.

This post is meant to explore the possibility that the Mormons carry their faith into the business world beyond church (if in fact this is the case here), such as making the same press releases (for a movie studio) again and again with nothing (repeatedly) coming of them.

Does Bryan Singer practice Mormonism? Nothing wrong with that. I won't say what's right or wrong in this case.

Exactly How Long Does it Take Universal Studios to Make a Movie?

October 21st, 2011

August 3rd 2012

As the above production schedule of Universal Studios shows, going into 2013 and 2014, this movie announced by Universal Studios and Bryan Singer (initially one year ago) isn't even on their production schedule. Thus far, one year after the top press release. During the past year, Universal Studios and Bryan Singer have instead, coasted along with an embryonic script supposedly from John Orloff lately doing revisions (supposedly.) During the past year, there wasn't even an art department hired to design and build sets, props, and wardrobe while the script was being written?

Of course, Universal Studios and Bryan Singer have been repeatedly announcing this production (in different forms) since 2001.

How many more decades is Universal Studios and Bryan Singer going to need, to make this movie?

Is this some sort of game that Universal Studios and Bryan Singer are repeatedly and knowingly playing in the "Press Release Department" of Universal Studios? It must be...because this same press release is now popping up every two years with a repeated "No Show" of this movie. And this exact same press release has been popping up since 2001. It must be some demonstration of "Inside Humor" within Universal Studios and among Bryan Singer that no one else is finding humorous.

It doesn't take 11 years to make a movie...period.

The Repeated Failure of Universal Studios & Bryan Singer to Live Up to Their Promises in These Press Releases (And Other Related Press Releases) Has No Doubt Damaged Their Reputations As Credible Hollywood Entities

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

August 3rd, 2012 - Bryan Singer's "Stuttering Interview"

...And Bryan Singer's long list of aborted projects is growing...

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

3. The Munsters (TV series)
4. Logan's Run
5. Excalibur
6. Bob Fosse mini series (HBO)
7. 2012
8. Sellevision
9. X-Men: Last Stand
10. Jack The Giant Killer
11. Star Trek
12. The Prisoner
13. Wolverine 2
14. X-Men 3
15. Aim High

And other people are noticing...

And What Bargain Basement Price Did NBC-Universal Get Bryan Singer For?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/09/nbc-cuts-comcast-spending_n_1951877.html

Surely with all of the "Jack of All Trades" duties Bryan Singer has been performing lately for NBC-Universal, they must have nabbed Bryan Singer for a special "All-Encompassing Under The Umbrella Bargain Basement Price!!"

Certainly far less than the $15 million annually NBC-Universal is now paying Jay Leno!!

Is Bryan Singer Now a "Jack of All Trades Contract Player" For NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel?

1. Mills Watson - "Sheriff Lobo, The Incredible Hulk", and other Universal Studios shows.
2. Jack Colvin - "Incredible Hulk, Six Million Dollar Man," and other Universal Studios shows
3. Bryan Singer - "Face Off, House, Munsters, Battlestar Galactica"
4. Gerald McRaney - "Incredible Hulk", and other Universal Studios shows

Universal Studios had them all of the time in the late 1970s to mid-1980s. Those same actors you would see again and again making guest appearances on all of the Universal Studios shows. These actors were known as "Contract Players"...harking back to the old studio system when the likes of Judy Garland, Bob Hope, and Vivian Leigh were all contracted to work for one, and only one movie studio.

Bryan Singer is taking his "Contract Player Status" with Universal Studios one step further in that he appears to be a "Jack of All Trades - Contract Player" for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel. Bryan Singer doesn't just "act" for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel (his upcoming guest appearance on the SyFy Channel series "Face Off.") He also performs other "duties" for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel not associated with acting....

1. He makes his bi-ennial "Battlestar Galactica" movie announcements for Universal Studios. The movie he still hasn't made in 11 years. Expect his next "Galactica" movie announcement in October 2013.

2. He directs television pilots for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel. "The Munsters"

3. He produced (with the help of other producers) the "House" television series for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel.

4. Bryan Singer may very well move on to directing "schlocky" horror movies for the SyFy Channel. (Extrapolating)

Where ever Bryan Singer is needed (as a "Contract Player for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel)...that's where NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel places him.

Bryan Singer appears to be (and very likely he is) a "Jack of All Trades Contract Player" for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel

Is Bryan Singer Going to Be a Permanent "Guest Appearance Employee" on All of The SyFy Channel's Programs?

 http://www.upi.com/Entertainment_News/TV/2012/10/09/Syfy-renews-Face-Off-for-fourth-season/UPI-54581349793881/

After all, any former movie director who throws his career away by bailing out on the following consecutive projects (or the consecutive projects dissolve from circumstances beyond his control) is worth pursuing by NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel and keeping him in-house under the permanent payroll!!
1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

3. The Munsters
4. Logan's Run
5. Excalibur
6. Bob Fosse mini series (HBO)
7. 2012
8. Sellevision
9. X-Men: Last Stand
10. Jack The Giant Killer
11. Star Trek
12. The Prisoner
13. Wolverine 2
14. X-Men 3

NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel thinks this guy (Bryan Singer) is "Gold!!"

Bryan Singer's "Mockingbird Lane" Pilot Will Air as a One Shot Halloween Special at The End of This Month

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/11/mockingbird-lane-nbc-halloween-special_n_1958728.html

Gee, have there been other examples of embarrassing one-shot Halloween specials? Let's see now, going back to October 1977....

The mighty labors of Bryan Singer with "Mockingbird Lane" have yielded nothing more than him and his "Mockingbird Lane" pilot joining the ranks of two laughable Halloween specials back in the fall of 1977.

Former Movie Director Bryan Singer to Make a Guest Appearance on The SyFy Channel's "Face Off" Series

http://www.upi.com/Entertainment_News/TV/2012/10/09/Syfy-renews-Face-Off-for-fourth-season/UPI-54581349793881/

We now know what Bryan Singer is doing in his spare time since he repeatedly can't get any of his announced movie and television projects off the ground. Making guest appearances on SyFy Channel shows.

Isn't it interesting how those who really don't have careers anymore in Hollywood always end up at NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel?

Is NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel considered the "bottom of the barrel" in Hollywood?

Predicting The Career Trajectories of Glen A. Larson and Bryan Singer

Glen A. Larson -  He is headed straight for permanent, full time retirement. If the "Manimal" series gets made at all, it will be made by other people with zero participation from Glen A. Larson.

Bryan Singer - Bryan Singer's very next project (immediately after his already forgotten "H+" webisode series on www.youtube.com) will be a fairly mundane low budget movie (around $30 million) where he will be one of the co-producers. Four other co-producers will be listed above his name in the closing credits of this movie (in order of seniority.) This movie won't receive any fanfare, will have extremely limited theatrical distribution, and will go to DVD very quickly and quietly. The big budget, Sci-Fi spectacle days of Bryan Singer in Hollywood are long gone.

1. If "Jack The Giant Killer" gets made at all, Bryan Singer will have nothing to do with it.
2. If "Battlestar Galactica" gets made at all, Bryan Singer will have nothing to do with it.

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer Have Repeatedly Proven That They Lack Credibility in Any Project They Announce

And thus neither one of them can be regarded as a professional entity within the boundaries of Hollywood.

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer have mutated into nothing more than Internet based, flim-flam con artists...moving from one deliberately misleading press release to the next. No projects of any sort being produced between the two of them.

In addition to the 15 projects Bryan Singer has announced over the years...none of them coming to fruition...

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

10. Jack The Giant Killer

12. The Prisoner

15. Aim High

Bryan Singer is also steadily building another list of projects announced solely with Universal Studios...none of those projects coming to fruition either.

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. The Munsters

Bryan Singer seems perfectly happy as well to have one of these projects announced twice on videotape, knowing full well that he can't and / or won't make this project. His reputation as a credible entity within Hollywood going down the toilet as a result...

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

Bryan Singer's August 3rd 2012 "stuttering claim" that this project is still inching along at a snail's pace...after 11 years total.

And other people are beginning to notice Bryan Singer's B.S....

Bryan Singer's "Mockingbird Lane" Has Just Been Measured For a Coffin

http://www.deadline.com/2012/10/nbcs-munsters-reboot-mockingbird-lane-unlikely-to-go-forward/

Does Bryan Singer want to share a dorm room with Ronald D. Moore from here on in? I mean, the two of them are so much alike with their careers on identical trajectories towards eradication and oblivion!!

Scan my earlier posts for all of the other exciting projects announced and abandoned by Bryan Singer or torpedoed by "The Powers That Be!!"

I predicted "The Munsters" not moving forward long before this press release!!

Is it Safe to Say That Bryan Singer Will Never Rise From The Ashes of His Troubled Work History to Make a "Battlestar Galactica" Movie?

Yes, superstar gymnast McKayla Maroney isn't impressed with Bryan Singer's troubled work history either.

Movies and television productions announced by Bryan Singer and never made by Bryan Singer.

1. Six Billion Dollar Man
2. Battlestar Galactica

3. The Munsters
4. Logan's Run
5. Excalibur
6. Bob Fosse mini series (HBO)
7. 2012

12. The Prisoner
13. Wolverine 2
14. X-Men 3

As We Approach The 1 Year Anniversary of Bryan Singer's Latest "Battlestar Galactica" Movie Announcement...

...We once again are left wondering whatever happened to this movie (this press release from October 21st, 2011) that Bryan Singer keeps re-announcing every 2 years...

August 3rd, 2012 Press Release

...And we are also left wondering why this movie is only in the "Script Revision Phase" after 1 year, and why Bryan Singer is stuttering after 1 year that..."he hopes to do direct this movie at some point"...when in fact he should have been heavily involved as the director already (heavily engaged in the pre-production process), engaging in such mundane tasks as hiring an art department 1 year ago to design sets, wardrobe, and props...so that John Orloff's script would be ready to go before the cameras once the script is finished 6 months later.

Perhaps it would be best for whatever is left of Bryan Singer's favorable reputation to cease these "Bi-ennial Galactica Movie Announcements" of his, and not make his next "Battlestar Galactica" movie announcements on October 2013....2015....2017....etc.

It always helps when other people are saying the same thing about Bryan Singer, doesn't it?
