After a Decade of Arguing With The General Public on Internet Bulletin Boards Over "Battlestar Galactica 1978 - The Only True Galactica Series"...

And after a decade of trying to censor the general public's honest and critical opinions of them as the worst owners the "Battlestar Galactica" property could possible have...

http://languatron.freeforums.org/viewforum.php?f=60

Maybe it's time for Universal Studios to get sober once and for all (psychologically speaking of course)....

...And bring back the only true "Battlestar Galactica" production the mass market commercial  audience and masses will ever accept...

And do away with the "Fake" Revival Press Releases while they're at it...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.

Has Anyone Noticed That Universal Studios Repeatedly Turns Science Fiction And "Battlestar Galactica" into Mass Market, Commercial Failures?

I think it has alot to do with all of the little, insignificant people at Universal Studios who lack the creative talent and the mass market commercial instincts to turn anything they touch into a unanimous held opinion among the commercial masses, that they have achieved mass market, commercial success with Science Fiction overall and "Battlestar Galactica."

What always happens with Universal Studios / SyFy Channel instead...is everytime they touch anything Science Fiction related and "Battlestar Galactica" specifically (and routinely screwing it up)...they end up having to rehire their stealth marketing buddies at "Abraham & Harrison" (all 12 of them) in order to try and mop up the public relations mess they inadvertently created by trying to do anything with Science Fiction in general and "Battlestar Galactica." Because Universal Studios / SyFy Channel always ends up pissing off so many people. "Abraham & Harrison" will always be doomed to roam the Internet trying to pick fights with the general public (on Universal Studios behalf)...on Internet bulletin boards with anyone who expresses an honest critical opinion of Universal Studios for (once again) screwing up Science Fiction in general, and "Battlestar Galactica."

It wouldn't be hard to turn anything Science Fiction related and "Battlestar Galactica" specifically into mass market / commercial successes if the talent was simply there at Universal Studios to do so. It isn't and never has been, so Universal Studios continues to lack any sort of mass market / commercial success Science Fiction tent pole property, and what Universal Studios continues to have the unmitigated gall to call "Battlestar Galactica" was a freebie view on http://www.youtube.com just last month, and is now poised to become a low selling DVD release after being a freebie view on SyFy Channel next month. Of course I'm speaking of that "Turd-Trek" known as "Blood & Chrome." Universal Studios has absolutely no idea what do with this "Blood & Chrome" turd thingy of theirs to such a degree, they can't even figure out if they should offer it free of charge to the general public on http://www.youtube.com, free of charge on the SyFy Channel, or as a DVD retail release. So Universal Studios is trying all three consecutively hoping that jello will stick to the wall with a hammer and nails at some point for them.

The sensible option will always be there for Universal Studios / SyFy Channel to go out of the Science Fiction business and the "Battlestar Galactica" business entirely, and sell everything they have Science Fiction related including "Battlestar Galactica" to a more sensible corporation in Hollywood.

The SyFy Channel is Always Isolated From The Rest of The World, And Alone, When Trying to Do Science Fiction

What has been the modus operandi of the SyFy Channel everytime Bonnie Hammer, David Howe, and Mark Stern have a rotten idea for a television series or movie is that they are always by themselves when putting the rotten idea into production. No one outside of their company or their immediate circle is with them. No one supports them, no one agrees with them in thinking that their programming ideas are a great idea, no one thinks their programming rotten ideas are great Science Fiction, great "Battlestar Galactica", or even great television for that matter.

So, the SyFy Channel always does the Republican equivelent of trying to enact bad legislation and trying to force the bad legislation down the public's throat ("GINO", "Caprica", "Blood & Chrome.") The SyFy Channel absolutely stinks at what they do and the mass market television audience the SyFy Channel repeatedly fails to tap into for revenue knows it.

Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" have proven to be a very lonely business and a very lonely existence for the SyFy Channel since they stink at doing both and no one outside of themselves and their paid stealth marketers from "Abraham & Harrison" always patrolling the Internet for criticisms against the SyFy Channel's crappy programming ideas support them.

It is a teeny-tiny limited world (with a teeny-tiny population I could count on both hands) the SyFy Channel exists in and is encased in everytime they try and do Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica." This teeny-tiny world always and only consists of Bonnie Hammer, David Howe, Mark Stern, Ronald D. Moore, and a half dozen stealth marketers from "Abraham & Harrison." They will always and only have each other to keep each other company whenever they attempt Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" for the small screen.

Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" has proven to be such a lonely professional life for Ronald D. Moore after failing commercially at both.....what is he doing now? Returning to the SyFy Channel for a supposed 13 episode order of some sort of instantly forgettable derivative project. Ronald D. Moore is returning to the SyFy Channel because he will always be a part of their commercially failing inner circle and every member of this inner circle wouldn't be hired for any reason anywhere else in Hollywood.

So this inner circle is always "doomed" to reunite with one another and produce even more commercially failing garbage on the SyFy Channel, always cut off from mass market success and the rest of the world.

NBC-Universal Has Ultimately Proven to Be the Only Interested Party (And Only Paying Customer) For Ronald D. Moore's "Sony" Based Development Projects

http://www.airlockalpha.com/node/9497/node/956/5-shows-you-should-be-watching.html

Isn't it amazing how the creatively bankrupt always return to the arms of one another?

Since Ronald D. Moore...."cough"....moved on to produce new projects for "Sony", NBC-Universal has been the only studio / corporation in Hollywood to express an ongoing and paying interest in Ronald D. Moore's "Sony" based development projects.

When Moore developed "17th Precinct". NBC-TV was the only interested party and paying customer for the pilot. Then there was the CBS-TV / Ronald D. Moore rumored remake of "Wild, Wild West" that ultimately only existed as a press release. Then there was that "Thing" prequel theatrical film Ronald D. Moore was supposed to be attached to that ultimately did get made but without him.

Thus far, there have been only four projects from Ronald D. Moore supposedly "being in development" at Sony after the endless time he has been there:

1. 17th Precenct
2. Wild Wild West
3. The Thing prequel movie ultimately made by someone else
4. Helix

Out of all four, NBC-Universal went the furthest by allowing the "17th Precinct" pilot to be filmed after ultimately rejecting it, and NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel now (supposedly) wants "Helix" from Ronald D. Moore. Four total projects from Ronald D. Moore developed at "Sony", half of them died due to lack of interest, the other half snatched up by NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel.

The point of all of this is, why is it NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel has ultimately proven to be the only interested party and paying customer for Ronald D. Moore's projects he is developing at "Sony?" I think it has alot to do with the fact that "like minds" always end up returning to one another even if the partnership was never previously fruitful...as was the case with "GINO", "Caprica", and "Blood & Chrome."

In a strange sort of way, I think NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel and Ronald D. Moore are destined by fate to be stuck with one another....forced to spoon feed each other their endless brain dead ideas that never lead to mass market financial prosperity and popularity. Destined to eternally fail at developing Science Fiction based television productions until the end of time.

Ronald D. Moore is not "in-demand" by anyone in Hollywood, and never was. At least he can always return home to NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel and live in the basement, as is apparently the case with "Helix."

The Moral of The Story is, Universal Studios Just Can't Escape From its Self-Inflicted Poor Reputation And Troubled Past With "Battlestar Galactica"

If Universal Studios tries to censor information from one location, that information will just reappear at thousands of additional locations.

So, after all of this dishonest activity, Universal Studios can be trusted to leave truthful book reviews on http://www.amazon.com, right? And not have honest book reviews removed from http://www.amazon.com, right?

Maybe someday Universal Studios will find all of the other places where these books are being sold, right?

Will We Eventually See Ronald D. Moore's Sham "Battlestar Galactica" Productions Become Public Domain Properties?

Perhaps the most famous public domain property there is. The 1971 "Evel Knievel" television movie starring George Hamilton.

Did Edward James Olmos frown his way into eventually making Ronald D. Moore's sham take on Battlestar Galactica a public domain property? "Mystery Science Theater 3000" anyone?

Ronald D. Moore did "Battlestar Galactica" his way by not actually doing "Battlestar Galactica." Will his "kooky" rendition of "Battlestar Galactica" eventually fall through the cracks at Universal Studios and become a "Public Domain Property", because it just isn't and never did make the sort of money for Universal Studios that it should have? Quite frankly, Ronald D. Moore's sham take on "Battlestar Galactica" would be very easy for any studio to want to forget about, and allow to become "Public Domain."

All of this applies to "Caprica" and "Blood & Chrome" as well.

Danica McKellar With a Flamethrower. How Nice.

The SyFy Channel may claim that this garbage of theirs is a legitimate horror movie. They may even claim that this is legitimate television programming. I have a more accurate word for it. It's crap, plain and simple. It's not a legitimate horror movie, and it's not legitimate television programming.

Repeated crap like this from the SyFy Channel gives telling insights into the thought processes of this overall corporation (NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel) and how psychologically dysfunctional this corporation really is.

No wonder this corporation always ends up being at war with every pissed off and fed up television viewer all over the Internet. And why this corporation always ends up having to hire stealth marketers and fan out its own corporate employees all over the Internet to try and convey the false impression that they really aren't this idiotic when it comes to every category of Science Fiction, Horror, and "Battlestar Galactica."

Perhaps NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel needs this statement repeated to them because they just aren't getting the message?

"Get the hell out of the Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror business. Because you suck at it. Quite frankly, there isn't corporation on this Earth that sucks at it more than you do."

The Universal Studios Censorship Book Spotlight: Investigation #1 - "Universal Studios vs. The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series"

Universal Studios Vs. The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series: The Common Sense Manual

Welcome to the first edition of what will be an ongoing series of investigations into Universal Studios ongoing and 14 year old practice of trying (and failing) to censor justified criticisms of themselves as a corporation all over the Internet. Specifically, criticisms directed at their repeated and deliberate mismanagement of the "Battlestar Galactica" property.

Lately, this practice has taken the form of Universal Studios, its stealth marketers, and employees trying (and failing) to censor favorable and legitimate book reviews of a series of books being sold on http://www.amazon.com rightfully praising these books and at the same time criticizing Universal Studios as a corporation in their poor management of the "Battlestar Galactica" property.

Since Universal Studios no doubt fears the above displayed book the most out of all 5 in this series of books, we will begin with this particular book and take a look at the favorable reviews Universal Studios coerced http://www.amazon.com into removing. These removed book reviews have been restored here...

http://languatron.freeforums.org/universal-studios-vs-the-1978-battlestar-galactica-series-t305.html

Nothing outrageous or out of line with these honest and legitimate opinions offered by readers who did indeed purchase and read the book. As a matter of fact, what these readers are stating is hardly secret knowledge about Universal Studios. Everyone has known since day one that Universal Studios has sucked in their management of the "Battlestar Galactica" property. So these favorable reviews of the book shouldn't have come as any surprise to Universal Studios, its stealth marketers, and its employees if they all lived in the real world along with the rest of us. The real world where Universal Studios sucks as a supplier of anything Science Fiction related (primarily "Battlestar Galactica") and everybody knows it.

Now lets take a look at the negative book reviews remaining on http://www.amazon.com  after Universal Studios coerced http://www.amazon.com into having the above, favorable book reviews removed...

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1358383945&sr=1-2&keywords=universal%20studios%20vs%20the%201978%20battlestar%20galactica%20series&tag=vglnk-c181-20

Now, doesn't it seem lopsided and morally ambiguous on the part of http://www.amazon.com that they would only allow fake, negative book reviews on their website? Fake book reviews written by Universal Studios stealth marketers and employees who clearly have a financial and paternal interest in Universal Studios? To what degree was http://www.amazon.com strong armed by Universal Studios stealth marketers and employees to have these favorable book reviews removed?

Even the most casual and objective observer to an http://www.amazon.com book review page would immediately notice two problems with this particular page:

1. That a book would only get (and only get) negative book reviews from a few people who are  clearly not all there psychologically and are obviously unhinged mentally. Most casual observers would be asking..."What happened to the positive and level headed reviews of this book? Is there censorship going on here?"

2. From the tone of their book reviews, these crackpots sound like that they have a deeply personal vendetta against the author and are throwing any nonsensical statement against the wall seeing if it sticks to try and prevent future copies of the book from being sold. These crackpots also sound like that they have a deeply personal and protective interest in Universal Studios from the sound of their negative and fake book reviews.

Of course, Universal Studios, its stealth marketers, and its employees never look far enough into the future to realize what the aftermath of their stealth marketing activities would look like to discerning and objective eyes firmly rooted in reality. They all live and dwell in their bubble encased fantasy land where everything they do makes perfect sense to them. And if it makes perfect sense to them, they assume it will make perfect sense to the rest of the world. Never realizing that this will never be the case because they (Universal Studios) are all insane. And their (Universal Studios) perception of the world is hopelessly screwed up.

Of course, this is the same studio that makes routine "fake" press releases such as this...

October 21st, 2011 Press Release

August 3rd, 2012 Press Release

And then they (Universal Studios) thinks that it's perfectly normal on a psychological level to not follow through (actually make this product they are and have been claiming to be making) since 2001.

It doesn't surprise anyone in the slightest that Universal Studios (in addition to routinely making the fake press releases above)...also posts fake, negative book reviews on http://www.amazon.com, and also (if all of that isn't bad enough), strong arms http://www.amazon.com into removing favorable book reviews from http://www.amazon.com.

Not only is Universal Studios a menace to Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica", Universal Studios is also a menace to society.

Well, The Restored Reviews Deleted By Universal Studios and Amazon.com Are Shaping Up Quite Nicely!!

Universal Studios Vs. The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series: The Common Sense Manual

http://languatron.freeforums.org/the-restored-favorable-reviews-deleted-by-universal-studios-amazon-com-section-f60.html

Universal Studios and Amazon.com didn't like all of the favorable and legitimate reviews the books criticizing Universal Studios were getting on Amazon.com. So, they went ahead and deleted them. I went ahead and restored them. And am in the process of restoring all of the rest that they deleted. All of these deleted reviews are being restored in the link above. Enjoy the fun!!

Also enjoy the front door I created in the link above, where you have to read the restored and favorable reviews first before you move on to Amazon.com and read the fake negative reviews of these books written by Universal Studios employees and stealth marketers.

The negative, fake, and stealth marketed written reviews of the books remaining on Amazon.com have an air of desperation about them, don't they? (1) They don't sound like real, legitimate reviews (2) the reviews sound like they are all serving a singular agenda (keep the books from getting read at all costs)...(3) And that the personal lives of everyone who wrote those negative reviews would be seriously modified not to their liking if the books were read.

Why Does Universal Studios / SyFy Channel & Ronald D. Moore Keep Returning To Do Science Fiction When They Keep Failing at Doing it?

http://www.airlockalpha.com/node/9497/node/955/why-elementary-fails-sherlock-holmes-fandom.html

Only one conclusion can be reached when assessing the work of Universal Studios / SyFy Channel and Ronald D. Moore together in the field of Science Fiction. That this partnership has been the worst in the business and has done no favors overall for Science Fiction. And this partnership has not created any work poised to be remembered decades from now by anyone.

So, after the consecutive failures of "GINO", "Caprica", and "Blood & Chrome", they are re-teaming yet again (for a fourth time) for the above project that sounds typically boring and mundane as anything else this partnership has produced together.

It's time for Universal Studios and Ronald D. Moore to get into another line of work. Maybe westerns, medievel pieces, or sitcoms.

Yawn. Cancelled After Three Episodes, If That

Ronald D. Moore is on the verge of returning to Syfy for the first time since the end of 'Caprica.'

In other words, we're going to see John Carpenter's "The Thing" slightly tweaked.

Ronald D. Moore is Writing a "Star Wars" TV Script? Just as Long as He is Demoted to "25th Staff Writer to The Left." Right?

http://www.aintitcool.com/node/60308

As Ronald D. Moore's solo scriptwriting chores in "GINO" and "Caprica" proved, he needs layers upon layers of level headed authority above him to veto any "kooky" story ideas he may have. He should have had countless layers of level headed authority above him reviewing all of his "GINO" and "Caprica" scripts (primarily the "GINO" pilot / mini-series) and vetoing all of his bad ideas...

"Shirts, ties and business suits worn by a group of people thousands of light years from Earth and have never heard of Earth?? Ain't gonna happen!!"

"Edward James Olmos as an endlessly frowning Commander Adama??" Ain't gonna happen!!

"Rape, torture, and murder in what should have been a mass market / pop culture friendly continuation of Battlestar Galactica from 1978?? Ain't gonna happen!!"

The silver linings in Ronald D. Moore's possible one and only one "Star Wars" script assignment are as follows:

1. He won't be in charge of anything. If he has bad ideas, they will get vetoed.

2. Walt Disney isn't stupid the way Universal Studios is - (Jettisoning the opportunity to make a property mass market and pop culture friendly in favor of following Ronald D. Moore's "Kooky" and bad take on a property that only attracts the demographically limiting "far-right nuts" in our society.)

Universal Studios Has Ultimately Revealed Itself to Be a Corporation Lacking The Drive, Desire, And Talent to Infuse Science Fiction & "Battlestar Galactica" With Any Sense of Fun and Originality

"A staggering lack of imagination and inspired thinking"...is an apt description of Universal Studios when it comes to their handling of Science Fiction and Fantasy overall ( the failed "The SyFy Channel") and their repeated, failed management of the "Battlestar Galactica" property.

While Universal Studios could argue that..."they are not in the business of making art but rather making money"...I dare say that Universal Studios has failed at both. What has differentiated Universal Studios from its corporate peers in Hollywood, is that Universal Studios has failed to acknowledge the reality and the necessity of commerce and art co-existing harmoniously together if you want to make serious money, and Universal Studios has repeatedly failed to demonstrate that commerce and art do indeed need to co-exist harmoniously, side by side with one another if you want to make serious money. Not the "Pocket Change" Universal Studios (NBC-Universal) is only ever able to scrape together in how they poorly manage the "SyFy Channel" and the "Battlestar Galactica" property.

It's common knowledge at this late date that everytime Universal Studios (NBC-Universal) attempts to tackle Science Fiction and / or "Battlestar Galactica" specifically, they immediately fall back on their old bad habits and reach out for the least talented "Rungs" at the bottom of the entertainment ladder (Bryan Singer, Ronald D. Moore, David Eick, Bonnie Hammer, David Howe, and Mark Stern.) There is a reason for this madness on the part of Universal Studios. These people are the cheapest people to hire (in Hollywood) to crank out what is supposed to be Science Fiction or "Battlestar Galactica." These people are cheap to hire because they have absolutely no talent, imagination, or inspired thinking whatsoever. There is absolutely nothing about these people cerebrally and / or intellectually that warrants high salaries. Every one of these people lack "Mass Market / Pop Culture" sensibilities when it comes to Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica." As a result, Universal Studios has utterly succeeded in keeping their corporate interpretations of Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" as bottom of the barrel..."B-Movie Level Trash." Not making a significant dime for themselves in either area.

It would take the "A-List Talents" of Joss Whedon, J.J. Abrams, J. Michael Straczynski, James Cameron, and the great one...Steven Spielberg....to repair the damage NBC-Universal has done to Science Fiction ("The SyFy Channel") and the "Battlestar Galactica" property in order to position both on the necessary pedestals within our pop culture of making the kind of money both of them are fully capable of making if they both had "A-List Talents" owning and managing them.

NBC-Universal would never hire these people to tackle Science Fiction ("The SyFy Channel") and "Battlestar Galactica" because they are all "A-List Talents" (possessing talent, imagination, and inspired thinking) requiring huge salaries. And as we all know....NBC-Universal has always steered clear of huge salaries when it comes to Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica."

The general public will just continue to seek out (with their money in hand) "talent, imagination, and inspired thinking" from all of the other studios in Hollywood providing movies and television productions.

These Fake Press Releases of Universal Studios And Bryan Singer Take On a Whole New "Eerie Tone" in 2013, Don't They?

October 21st, 2011 Fake Press Release

August 3rd, 2012 Fake Press Release

"Eerie Tone"...as in 2013 is the "35th Anniversary Year" of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

What is Universal Studios and Bryan Singer going to do this year?

Have the audacity and unmitigated gall to show up at "Comic-Con" this 35th Annivesary year, not being able to explain why they haven't made this movie they began announcing in fake press releases beginning in 2001, and continuing with their fake press releases on through to 2008, 2009, and 2011?

I wouldn't want to be them sitting in a convention room at "Comic-Con" facing angry fans. It would make for an awkward social situation, wouldn't it?

I think it can be safely concluded that Universal Studios executives and Bryan Singer will skip "Comic Con" this year ( just as they have done in all previous years.) I suspect they know that they wouldn't be welcome there under these specific circumstances.

Remember The "Bad Old Days" When Group Photographs Like This Were Taken No Matter How Commercially Unsuccessful "GINO" Really Was?

Actor Edward James Olmos, executive producer David Eick, actress Mary McDonnell, creator/writer Ronald D. Moore and SciFi channel's Mark Stern

Ironically, the garbage that was "GINO", "Caprica", and "Blood & Chrome" (and how commercially unsuccessful all three of them were) will no doubt be the focal points of Universal Studios attention during this 35th Anniversary year of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

By Golly, The 35th Anniversary of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" Series is Here!! So, How is Universal Studios Going to Screw it Up For Everybody Else?

This will most definitely be the one year out of all previous years when we we will see Universal Studios screw up (in every conceivable way) the fond memories of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

What I predict will be the highlights....

 1. Universal Studios executives simply getting up in the morning, having breakfast, and then showing up for work at the "Universal Studios Black Tower." "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series is already in deep trouble right there!! Only 358 more days to go in this anniversary year!! Boy, it's going to be a long haul!!

2. This would be the perfect year for Universal Studios to release a corrected version of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Complete Series" on DVD!! You know the DVD set, right? The DVD set Universal Studios screwed up three times in a row thus far in 2003, 2004, and 2008 (i.e. Cracked discs, freezing discs, heavy grain in episodes.) Of course, Universal Studios would never do this because they simply don't like the show!!

3. Whatever happened to that "Battlestar Galactica 1978" movie that Universal Studios and Bryan Singer announced in 2001, 2009, and 2011? We won't find out in 2013 either!!

4. Will we ever see the supposed "1978 Battlestar Galactica Ralph McQuarrie Portfolio" in 2013? Not if Universal Studios has anything to say about it!! And gosh golly, they will have something to say about it!! Universal Studios continues to be up to its corporate neck in trying to keep this show off of everyone's radar and 2013 will be no different!!

5. How about a "Director's Cut" of "Saga of a Star World" (the pilot episode of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series) with the editing supervised by "Saga" directors Richard A. Colla and Alan J. Levi? It would be the perfect product to hit store shelves for the 35th Anniversary of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series!! Right? Wrong!! Not if Universal Studios has anything to say about it! And gosh golly, they will have something to say about it!!

That's just a few of my predictions for the "lumps of coal" Universal Studios no doubt has in store for the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series in this 35th Anniversary year of its existence!!

And have faith!! Universal Studios will no doubt sink to depths even worse than what's listed above in 2013!!
