"SyFy's ratings as a network are low. This isn't really specific to one particular show. The channel simply doesn't have a big audience. They're a highly niche network that hasn't had a show of major acclaim for a long time, stuff like the Expanse has started getting buzz but that seems to have only permeated amongst sci-fi fans who would already be predisposed to watch it - it hasn't won any major awards or made any sort of major cultural impact as of yet.
And still even amongst the genre fan community SyFy does not have a great reputation because it's produced tons of low quality content. Short of a string of major critical hits (stuff like Helix, Wyonna Earp, and 12 Monkeys have not garnered any particular buzz whether because of lack of interest, marketing or otherwise) I doubt there's much SyFy can really do to repair their reputation."
The things that killed the..."SyFy Channel"...forever and ever...And drove legitimate Science Fiction fans en masse away from the network forever no matter what it would do to try and repair itself...
1. Wrestling
2. "Geeks Who Drink"
3. Ronald D. Moore's mass market flop..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)...
4. "C.S.I." reruns
5. The..."Cape Fear"...movie reruns
6. All low budget horror movies from..."The Asylum"...
7. The..."Sharknado"...nonsense
8. Making box office flops into low ratings flop television series..."The Purge"..."12 Monkeys"...."Helix" - (based on John Carpenter's "Thing"...movie from 1982)...."Blood Drive" - (based on low budget, box office flop grindhouse films from the 1970's)..."Leprechaun"....
9. Ridiculing the legitimate Science Fiction genre for decades
10. Being a lazy..."Sister Station"...to the..."USA Network"...and not showing legitimate Science Fiction
We're not talking about only a couple of years that the..."SyFy Channel (Sci-Fi)"...went off the rails like this. This channel has been this way (hopelessly screwed up) for decades. When a channel is this screwed up for decades, watch and see the zero amount of Science Fiction fans who would return to the network in order to give it another shot. Even if the network wanted to straighten itself out after such a long time.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...
And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
