This guy, along with Simon Kinberg and Sam Esmail, specialize in NOT MAKING "Battlestar Galactica" movies and tv shows for years and years, and decades and decades.
And boy, "Universal Studios" sure as hell is being ridiculed behind these business doors...
So Say We All!!
So Say We All!!
1. "Peacock-Streaming" remains stuck at a mere 20 million subscribers (after 5 years) because parent corporation "Comcast / NBC-Universal" continues to not have any desire whatsoever to adequately fund it and fix it.
2. "Battlestar: Anything" will continue to not get made decade in and decade out because parent corporation "Comcast / NBC-Universal" still hasn't learned (even after 45 consecutive years) that it actually has to lift a "Corporate Finger" and actually engage in physical exertion in order to make something "Battlestar" related.
3. The embarrassment to its miniscule viewership and The "Science Fiction" / "Comic-Con" communities alike, (Syfy Cannel) remains the lost cause it always was and always will be.
So Say We All!!
.
From every conceivable standpoint. For 45 consecutive years and counting (1978-2023)
So Say We All!!
What's the next big step in the devolutionary process of the 'Failed R.I.P.D. Franchise" after both "R.I.P.D." and "R.I.P.D. 2" failed?
Because with this failed franchise, the only direction you can ever go in is "Down."
The "Great Devolution" of the failed "R.I.P.D. Franchise"....
1. "R.I.P D." - Theatrical Film
2. "R.I.P.D. 2" - Direct to DVD release
3. "R.I.P.D. 3" - Audio Book
So Say We All!!
Go to where the fun is. Anyplace except "Peacock-Streaming."
So Say We All!!
1. Sam Esmail
2. Simon Kinberg
3. Dylan Clark
4. Frances Lawrence
5. Michael DeLuca
6. Scott Stuber
7. Bryan Singer
8. Tom DeSanto
9. Jack Paglen
10. John Orloff
So Say We All!!
Yes, when putting "Comcast / NBC-Universal" (and presently) Sam Esmail and Simon Kinberg in the same sentence with "Battlestar", you always have to speak in "Antonym Phrases"....
1. The "Battlestar" production will resume not being made now.
2. Sam Esmail will resume being inactive with "Battlestar."
3. Simon Kinberg reached the "Ultimate Threshold of Inactivity" with "Battlestar."
4. Non-progress is really stearing the trajectory of "Battlestar" now.
5. "Battlestar" should now reach theaters in roughly....NEVER.

After ( four +) consecutive years and 50 consecutive months, Sam Esmail has only been able to produce an "Outline" in written form for a television "Pilot?"
By what stretch of the imagination is this a cause to celebrate anything with a phrase stolen from the 1975-1976 syndicated British series "Space: 1999?"....
"So Say We All"
And what was the delay with Sam Esmail not producing his alleged "Battlestar" production for four consecutive years, 2019-2023? Four years before the "Writer's Strike' began.
And before that easily disproven rumor, the other easily disproven rumor (Covid19) was proven to be unfounded as well since 95% -100% of all other television / movie productions proceeded uninterrupted despite "Covid-19."

"Comcast / NBC-Universal" doesn't own....
1. Mickey Mouse
2. Star Wars
3. Star Trek
4. Indiana Jones
....so it's stuck re-booting the "Schlocky Crap" it does own from the 1980s and later that wasn't that great to begin with.
Quite frankly, what it does own for the most part SUCKS.

Is this blog not supposed to be noticing these ongoing blatant LIES coming from "Comcast / NBC-Universal" regarding "Battlestar Galactica" and the LIES coming from all those who associate with them? LIES spanning 22 consecutive years.
....or was it merely time for "Comcast / NBC-Universal" to issue yet another "Fake Battlestar Galactica Press Release" in order to renew its ownership of the copyright, and thus prevent said ownership from lapsing into the "Public Domain?"
The standard practice since 2001.
