....and even after that, "Comcast / NBC-Unuversal" still thinks that a "Streaming Service" is nothing but a "Re-run Platform" for all of NBC's old shows and old movies.
It might help "Comcast / NBC-Universal" to begin acknowledging the "Harsh Realities" of the "Streaming Industry" involving the enormous success of high quality, big budgeted, "Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror" programming."
On the other hand, it's too late for "Comcast / NBC-Universal" to try anything new and different with "Peacock." The damage it inflicted on this "Streaming Service" is permanent.

The Lack of enthusiasm stemming from the fact that not only does everyone doubt their abilities to pull off a "Battlestar" project with "Mass Market Appeal" after only moving at a "Glacial Pace" for "half a decade"- (2019-2024), but also that NO ONE in "Hollywood" knows who the hell these two characters are.
"So Say We All!!"
Way back in the 1990's, the "Hallmark Greeting Card Company" owned the entire library of the "Filmation", Science Fiction and Fantasy based Saturday morning kid shows from the 1970's....
Now, three decades later, "Peacock-Streaming", a former subsidiary of "Comcast / NBC- Universal" (that just happens to own and HATE the "Battlestar Galactica" property) to such an extent that it NEVER gets a project off the ground decade after decade ON PURPOSE....
The HATRED of "Science Fiction / Fantasy" has now come FULL CIRCLE with both participants being a CONDUIT back and forth to one another. Feeding each other.
"So Say We All!!"
Despite these facts, "Comcast / NBC-Universal" IGNORED the rise and longevity of the "Rick Berman Era of Star Trek" from 1987 to 2005....
Ignored all current incarnations of "Star Trek"....
