COCOAINE BEAR: THE SERIES
This was the biggest "Box Office Flop" of 2023. "Comcast / NBC-Universal" wasn't proud enough of that pathetic fact to commission a series out of it?

Yes, yet another "Comcast / NBC-Universal Press Release" filled with the usual "Deceptive Nonsense" it is known for.
So, after five years....
Has the amount of "Peacock-Streaming" subscribers now gone up to....
Drum Roll....
40 million?
"If your streaming service doesn't have a singular and discernible identity that subscribers can lock onto (like "Netflix" or "Disney")....
"....you throw everything you can think of (including the kitchen sink) into your monthly programming schedule...."
Apparently....
Excessive content makes up for lacking a discernible identity....

Yet in the final analysis, "Comcast / NBC-Universal" still opted to not do anything with "Battlestar" anyway....
The same old (decades spanning) boring story with "Comcast / NBC-Universal."
Let's go over the definition of "Comcast / NBC-Universal" once again....

I didn't think so!!
"So Say We All"

A budget of $150,000.00 to make this thing. Were the cast and crew at least fed out on location?
Have fun!!
"So Say We All!!"
Which can be boiled down to....
"No, we don't want to do it".....
In this particular case however, "Peacock-Streaming" has been such an "Underachieving Dolt" of a streaming service (across the board) since its inception, it's no loss by any means that "Battlestar" wound up not being made by it.
I wouldn't want "Battlestar" being made by the "Game Show Network" or "PBS" either.
Or worse even yet..."SyFy"....
"So Say We All!!"
Because "Comcast / NBC-Universal" now isn't doing anything to renew its ownership of the property. INACTIVITY. Both implied and literal.
That's what happens when you don't even issue further "Fake Press Releases" anymore, on its "Alleged Status."
"So Say We All!!"
Amid "Comcast / NBC-Universal's "Endless Sea" of other "Stupid Business Decisions" it has made spanning the decades....
Because it never did, "Peacock-Streaming" remains what it always has been for 5 years ..
"A barely known, ignored, insignificant, piss-pot little streaming service sharing the low-totem ranks with SyFy Channel."
"So Say We All!!'
Any "Outlets" efforts with the property would be IMPEDED with "Comcast / NBC-Universal's "ENDLESS VETOES" with the property still being fanned out left and right, 46 years later (1978-2024.)
"So Say We All!!"
....It will no doubt involve its next batch of "Underwhelming, Change For a Dollar / Producers and Writers" who would never lift a finger to make a "Battlestar: Anything" as well.
You know these "Producer / Writer Types", right? You never heard of them before, their reputations in "Hollywood" are dog shit.
Maybe the producing and writing descendants of Roger Corman and Ed Wood?
Just around the corner from the "SyFy Channel", right?
