The "1978 Battlestar Galactica Series" Never Makes it to The Big Screen Because of The Poor Quality of People Always At The Helm

It's a surprise to no one that the "1978 Battlestar Galactica Series" never makes it to the big screen after one intentionally fraudulent press release after another is released by Universal Studios, because the same skid row poor quality people remain in ownership and management of the property...and the same creative idiots who are always charged with developing a theatrical film (Bryan Singer, Tom DeSanto) repeatedly fail to deliver. Who do we see owning and managing the "1978 Battlestar Galactica Series" again and again every single time yet another date passes (predicted by Universal Studios intentionally fraudulent press releases) without the 1978 series showing up on the big screen? Who do we see charged with the creative development of a theatrical film...again and again....who repeatedly fail to deliver?
Glen A. Larson
This man retired from the business over a quarter century ago. Does it surprise anyone that he never comes out of retirement to make a theatrical film based upon the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series? Maybe if Glen A. Larson had actually created "Battlestar Galactica" instead of the late Lesie Stevens having actually did...he would have had more passion for making a theatrical film decades before now.
Bryan Singer
Where does one go after fucking up the "Superman" legend as badly as Bryan Singer did with his "Superman Returns?" Well, he would certainly avoid making a theatrical film based upon the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series, wouldn't he? If anyone would even bother hiring him in order to do so. Yes, after the debacle that was and is "Superman Returns", Bryan Singer is playing it safe with such nonsense and drivel as "Jack The Giant Killer."
Tom DeSanto
Yes, he claims to have loved the show as a kid. Yes, he has claimed to "want to get the old girl up and running again." But...something has always gone wrong in between Tom DeSanto's self proclaimed love for "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series...and physically doing something about it. As in, his conversations with Universal Studios executives have always gone something like this?
Tom DeSanto: "I want to revive 'The 1978 Battlestar Galactica' series."
Universal Studios: "Nope. We won't let you do it."
Tom DeSanto: "OK...I'm outta' here. I'm going to go and play golf for the next two years."
SyFy Channel
You think Bonnie Hammer and her thug entourage at the SyFy Channel have never had a hand in derailing theatrical films based upon "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series? Think again. Financial despair in everything she touches is what Bonnie Hammer always strives for...and achieves. That's why advertisers can always buy commercial time on the SyFy Channel at the bargain basement rate of $1.00 per minute.
Universal Studios
Decades before the malice of Bonnie Hammer and the SyFy Channel, decades before the inept...bungling... buffoonery of Bryan Singer and Tom DeSanto, and decades before Glen A. Larson believed that he could make a "Battlestar Galactica" theatrical film merely by wishing it into existence...we had Universal Studios sowing the seeds in 1979 for what eventually would prove to be the decades long persecution of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.
Send the general public another fraudulent press release...Universal Studios!! Give it your best shot!!
