NBC-Universal Failed to Kill The Memory of The "1978 Battlestar Galactica" Series...And Lost The Fight

Stealth marketing has not served NBC-Universal well in the past decade. In their futile attempt to kill the memory of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series during the past decade, NBC-Universal still finds itself stuck with ownership of this series that refuses to die, and ownership of Ronald D. Moore's same named series that has died.
I think the lesson to be learned here is that when nothing but malice is behind a corporation's actions..."All that goes around comes around." Because NBC-Universal is the last corporation on Earth that should be owning the "Battlestar Galactica" copyright, they created two disasters for themselves during the past decade.
1. The limitless, untapped commercial potential of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series continues to haunt NBC-Universal in its corporate ass because they continue to be too pig-headed and idiotic to take advantage of it.
2. The non-existent, commercial potential of Ronald D. Moore's sham take on "Battlestar Galactica" has left NBC-Universal with two "dud" series ("GINO", "Caprica") that they can't even give away on DVD. In the process, having had to pay Ronald D. Moore outrageous salaries to deliver these two "dud" series to them.
NBC-Universal put up one disgusting fight during the past decade to try and kill the memory of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series. Unfortunately for them...their endless, fucked-up corporate agendas meant nothing to the general public that affectionately hung on to the memory of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series during the past decade in the midst of every sleazy, stealth marketing trick NBC-Universal could muster to try and generate the opposite reaction from the general public.
The "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series remains firmly in place as a worthy memory (and potential property worthy of revisiting) its fanbase continues to embrace...and a worthy member of the proud legacy of televised science fiction. Ronald D. Moore's garbage series on the other hand ("GINO", "Caprica")...continue to bounce around "Wal-Mart DVD bins" across the country at 90% discount prices...where they will eventually be removed by Wal-Mart and returned to the manufactuers as "sale duds."
When will NBC-Universal ever learn that you have to embrace what you own before you can make money from it?
