The SyFy Channel Lacks The Internal Corporate Talent to Make These Projects Happen

The SyFy Channel also lacks the funding to hire the outside talent necessary to make these projects happen. These are once again, another round of "Fake Press Releases" from NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel polluting the Internet with false claims, false promises, and impossible dreams.
The shows described in these "Fake Press Releases" run so contrary to what NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel is as a corporation, it's ludicrous to even think that such shows with such a rather high "Imagination Factor" would be attached to NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel.
Shows that are "Space Based"...set in outer space with spaceships?? Since when does NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel like "Space Based" shows with spaceships? Since when would NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel be willing to hire such an "A-List Talent" as Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead, Aliens) to develop a show for them? The last I checked, she's still very busy co-producing "The Walking Dead." Gale Anne Hurd (salary wise) is way beyond the SyFy Channel's daily operating budget.
The shows described in these "Fake Press Releases" of NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel would require production budgets in the hundreds upon hundreds of millions of dollars to get them produced with the supposed talent involved behind the scenes. Remember, this is the same SyFy Channel that penny-pinched on that "Darling Show of Theirs" that everyone else in the mass market audience hated...Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only) flop of a series. The SyFy Channel loved this show, yet they couldn't even fork over enough money to hire a costume designer for "GINO" to design original costumes for the cast members to wear. Instead, everyone was walking around in three-piece business suits. Business suits obviously purchased from a local shopping mall that NBC-Universal had easy access to. This is also the same SyFy Channel that for the past decade and longer, has produced nothing but LOW BUDGET CRAP on a consistent basis 100% of the time. - "Scare Tactics", "Ice Spiders", "Sharktopus", "Gatorade", "Area 51" etc.
Additionally, NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel made it very clear to the general public throughout the entire decade of the 2000s (via arguing with them on Internet bulletin boards) that....
1. They don't like Science Fiction.
2. They don't like space based shows with spaceships.
3. They do like low budget crap ("GINO", "Caprica", "Blood & Chrome") easy to produce.
4. Even though they own the Sci-Fi Channel, they never liked its content.
These "Fake Press Releases" of NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel (as no doubt NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel is very aware of)....paint a really pretty picture of NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel. As if they have suddenly had a "Change of Heart Overnight" towards Science Fiction and Fantasy on television.
A love affair if you will.
"Yeah, right." I'll believe that when I witness it and see it. Because the last time I checked (recently), the same knuckleheads and morons are still working at NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel...The same knuckleheads and morons responsible for putting "Maury Povich" and "Blind Date" on the air.
I suspect that this latest batch of "Fake Press Releases" is nothing more than NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel responding (defensively) to the unanimous criticisms (globally) that the SyFy Channel is lacking in Science Fiction content (putting it mildly.) Time will pass and these "Fake Press Releases" will eventually fade away as all "Fake Press Releases" from NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel always do, and NBC-Universal will continue putting low budget crap on the air. Because they're so good at it.
