Collectively, They Have Destroyed The Once Great Sci-Fi Channel, Made Three Crappy Remakes of "Battlestar Galactica", and Have Abandoned 28 Consecutive Projects Announced in "Fake Press Releases"
So...why won't these three losers go away and never darken the doorways of Science Fiction and Fantasy ever again?
Either collectively or individually....Universal Studios, Ronald D. Moore, and Bryan Singer repeatedly and always demonstrate an uncanny knack for never having their fingers on the pulses of what mass market audiences want to see in the Science Fiction / Fantasy genre. They stink at what they do.
In the Science Fiction / Fantasy genre, it takes genuine talent to entertain mass market audiences in such a way where the genre itself isn't being degraded, disrespected, or snickered at. If you show genuine respect for the genre, you will be rewarded with repeat business by mass market audiences.
Not so with Universal Studios, Ronald D. Moore, and Bryan Singer. Universal Studios snickers at anything in the Science Fiction / Fantasy genre....especially "Battlestar Galactica." Universal Studios and Ronald D. Moore simultaneously snickered at "Battlestar Galactica" while they were doing their three crappy remakes ("GINO", "Caprica", "Blood & Chrome")....and Bryan Singer has snickered at every single Science Fiction / Fantasy project he has ever announced via his never ending "Fake Press releases" (28 times at last count.)
So, why won't the three of them just leave the genre behind and pursue other goals? The entire world would be that much more better off if they did. They could pursue war movies, crime dramas, soap operas, etc. The sorts of products that would perfectly highlight their combined and individual banalities blending right in with everyone else's banalities in Hollywood who make the exact same things in banal ways.
They might as well, since the three of them never could make noteworthy money in Science Fiction / Fantasy.

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
