Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" - (Galactica In Name Only) Series Was The First.... "Generic Television Series With a Deceptive Format"....
Mr.... "Happy Disposition".... himself gives us a smile for the camera.
1. "GINO" claimed to be..."Battlestar Galactica"...but wasn't.
2. It claimed to take place in outer space but didn't.
3. It claimed to take place thousands of light years from Earth but didn't.
4. It claimed to not take place on Earth but visually it obviously did.
5. It claimed to..."reinvent televised science fiction"...but ripped-off everything else instead.
6. Ronald D. Moore eventually admitted it was a darker & grittier version of..."Star Trek: Voyager."
7. Edward James Olmos eventually admitted it was...."Blade Runner"....also.
8. The claims that it was...."Battlestar Galactica"...eventually fell away towards the end of the series.
9. It ultimately was a..."generic television series"....in format emulating...."Star Trek: Voyager"....and..."Blade Runner"....in bits and pieces throughout its four season...low rated run.
10. It claimed to be Science Fiction but wasn't. Not something this poorly done!! Aside from the bits and pieces of...."Star Trek: Voyager"....and...."Blade Runner"....thrown in, it was also...
a. Period piece gangster (Elliot Ness) melodrama. (Earth 1920s-1930s)
b. Contemporary romance clap-trap (Present day)
c. Contemporary shock display torture (No commentary)
d. Contemporary shock display infanticide (No commentary)
e. Contemporary shock display rape (No commentary)
f. Contemporary soap opera (Present day)
Throw all of these mismatched ingredients into a blender, and you wound up with a...."Generic Television Series"....with no locked down format in particular.
"GINO" was perhaps the first television series with an ever fluctuating generic format as it went. Nothing locked down.

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...
http://languatron.freeforums.org/viewforum.php?f=60
And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
