Where are all of these missing scenes, Universal Studios?

I'm sure..."Destroyed by fire"....will be your primary excuse. Since you never have cherished the value of film vaults and proper archive storage the way the other studios have.

It Was a Huge Production, Wasn't It Universal Studios? A Huge Production You Would Rather Not Revisit 40 Years Later In Terms Of Its Scope

1. An outside vendor brought in to supply state of the art (at the time) computer equipment.

2. A bridge set that still puts anything in new "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" films to shame....39 years later. And still overshadows any new bridge set to this very date.

3. Hundreds of extras in the pilot film alone.

4. Hundreds of originally designed costumes by the brilliant Jean Pierre-Dorleac.

5. State of the art models (that still look state of the art 39 years later) by the great John Dykstra and his crew at the time.

What's to fear about this production, Universal Studios? From your perspective, I guess EVERYTHING? Right?

If Fear Constantly Prevents Universal Studios From Responding To New "Star Wars" And "Star Trek" Films Currently In Our Cinemas In The Appropriate Way Their Business Demands...

 

...Then maybe it's time for the Universal Studios CEO and..."Board of Directors"...to clean out this building of the old management staff...and staff it with new managers not afraid to respond to..."Star Wars"...and..."Star Trek"...currently in our cinemas with..."Battlestar Galactica 1978"....properly revived.

Out with the old / in with the new!! The people working in this building have been too afraid to do their jobs for the past 39 consecutive years. Why are they still employed and still working there? Universal Studios Chronic Fear Of The "1978 Battlestar Galactica Series" For 39 Consecutive Years Is Primarily Due To The Scope Of The Show Being Too Big For Universal Studios To Deal With

Universal Studios has always been staffed with not terribly bright people incapable of dealing with large scale projects of this nature on an intellectual level.

Even when the financial nature of  their business demands that they compete with the current..."Star Wars"...and..."Star Trek"...movie booms in cinemas, and should have competed with..."Star Trek: The Next Generation"...and..."Babylon 5"...in syndication decades ago.
