It Has Been a Question Begging to Be Asked For The Past 10 Years

 

Why is it, the only way the SyFy Channel and Ronald D. Moore can do a project together, is when their projects are engulfed in a massive cloud of non-stop deception and dishonesty?

1. Ronald D. Moore didn't create "Helix." Cameron Porsandeh did. Yet it has been strongly implied in the Internet promos that Ronald D. Moore is the creator of "Helix." At no time during the promotion of "Helix" on the Internet, has the SyFy Channel and Ronald D. Moore ever given acknowledgement to Cameron Porsandeh as being the creator of "Helix."

2. The partnership of Ronald D. Moore and the SyFy Channel has never consisted of original creations between the two of them, but rather grabbing someone else's creation, doing a new and boring spin on it, and then trying to claim "Original Creation Credit" for that as well.

a. "GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only.) This laughable series swiped the "Title" and nothing else from the "1978 Battlestar Galactica Series", and then "Moore - SyFy" proceeded to crank out a typically familiar and generic "Soap Opera / Melodrama" with lazy production values (shirts & ties) topped off with unnecessary violence and rape for shock value effect only, never necessary to advance the plot.

b. During "GINO's" original airing, Glen A. Larson had to straighten out the "Writer's Guild" because they were listing Ronald D. Moore as the creator of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica Series" as well as the author of "GINO!!" Isn't it funny how this sort of awkward situation ALWAYS arises whenever Ronald D. Moore's name (and SyFy's) are attached to a project?

3. You will never get an honest "Ratings Report" from the SyFy Channel and Ronald D. Moore regarding any of their joint projects. You will get nothing but dishonest and ridiculous press releases massively overinflating the ratings of each episode.

4. You will always get stealth marketed authored press releases massively overinflating the supposed accomplishments of the SyFy Channel and Ronald D. Moore.

a. "SyFy Channel is #1 in all cable categories!!"

b. "Ronald D. Moore has earned the right to be mentioned in the same sentence as George Lucas and Steven Spielberg!!"

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
