It was instead, a poorly and misguided abomination from day one without the proper budget, imagination, and inspired thinking to be considered..."canon"...with the would be..."Battlestar Galactica"...franchise Universal Studios never did get off the ground after 49 consecutive years of mismanaging it on purpose.
