Yes, Ronald D. Moore's monumentally embarrassing..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)...series.
1. The setting was supposed to be thousands of light years from Earth, yet every supposed alien planet had sunny blue skies and automobiles.
2. The premise was supposed to be Science Fiction and Fantasy, yet there were never any extra- terrestrial bad guys (alien creatures.)
3. Ronald D. Moore called these initial two strikes against it as..."Naturalistic Science Fiction"...but this blog knows better and calls it for what it really was: Lazy producing and scriptwriting combined with an inadequate budget to do a Science Fiction / Fantasy television series.
4. This series is so long forgotten except for the charitable nature of this blog continuing to mention it for all of its faults that it hasn't had a life after its long overdue cancellation a decade ago...
a. The Syndication market doesn't want and has never wanted the reruns.
b. NBC-TV, a subsidiary of Comcast-Universal, doesn't even want and has never wanted the reruns.
c. Wal-Mart always practically gives the reruns away in..."Bargain Basement Price Slashed"...season sets.
5. The most this failed series ever gets is a booth the size of a pay toilet at comic book conventions.
6. This series was such a..."Mass Market Flop"...that..."SyFy-Universal"...had to pay..."Stealth Marketers"...to pretend to like the show. Most notoriously the stealth marketing firm..."Abraham & Harrison"...Those characters stuck to this show like glue during its entire run. Even overstaying their (never asked for in the first place)..."B.S. Welcome"...
7. The only outer space adventure to ever actually surpass Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)...series in the..."Shit for Brains Department"...is..."Space Mutiny"...
