Of Course, This Blog Will Always Be Mystified as to Why Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner" Was Chosen as One of The Primary Sources For "Idea Mining" in Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only) Series

"Blade Runner"....was a mass market, commercial flop in 1982. Yet, Ronald D. Moore mined its...."Manic Depression-esque"....type characters and more of its ideas for his…."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)….series two decades later.

General Rule of Thumb: Don't steal ideas from...."Box Office Flops"....

If the...."Mass Market Audience"....didn't take to the ideas in the movie the first time around, they aren't going to give the ideas another chance in a different production two decades later. Or at any time, period.

The...."SyFy Channel"....could give a whole series of lectures on how unprofitable it is to dust off old, box office flops and try and make the same ideas work in a new tv series. Ideas that didn't work the first time around in the movies that bombed at the box office.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff..

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
