'Comcast / NBC-Universal' actually is keeping 'Battlestar 1978' out of the 'Public Domain' (and not making a new production) by repeatedly flooding the marketplace with new 'Battlestar 1978 Merchandise!' Which is what it is doing right now.
It's other alternative for keeping 'Battlestar 1978 out of the 'Public Domain' without making a new production, (as it has been doing for 25 years and counting) is flooding the Internet with its 'Fake Battlestar Galactica Movie / TV Show Press Releases!'
