Universal Studios less than half-hearted corporate attempt to bring "Battlestar Galactica" into the 21st Century with these three low rated, low budgeted, and low imagination based productions failed to awake the sleeping giant that is still the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

Thanks to the above "yawning" induced productions, "Battlestar Galactica" (the brand name) fails to compete with "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" in magnitude of pop culture popularity.
