I suspect that sometimes the thoroughly dysfunctional "NBC-Universal Era"....Sci-Fi Channel"....goes through a "Mid-Life Crisis" and wishes it was younger, hipper, more talented, and as imaginative as these "Fake Press Releases" of theirs try to make themselves out to be. Of course, none of these projects will ever come to pass but NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel still enjoys "Blowing Stealth Marketing B.S." up everyone's rear end in the hopes that no one will ever notice that there forever shall be a "Severe Disconnect" between what the SyFy Channel actually is...versus....what they always try to make themselves out to be as in the B.S. Press Release displayed above.



                                 
             

"Battlestar Galactica 1978" on Blu-Ray??  This coming from the same studio that thoroughly trashed the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series in 2003 with "Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series!!" That infamous DVD set was littered with all sorts of manufacturing flaws including cracked and freezing discs, and the "1978 pilot episode" not being digitally remastered.

I doubt very much that Universal Studios will successfully navigate and master Blu-Ray technology for the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" simply because they never did successfully navigate and master standard DVD technology for the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

You don't learn how to fly a jet aircraft immediately after repeatedly falling off of a tricycle.

Oh yeah, and this press release is total B.S. as well because it will obviously never happen!!

Universal Studios strikes again!!
