What is Universal Studios Latest "Sinister Political Agenda" This Time Around Involving The "Battlestar Galactica" Property?

Speculating as to what Universal Studios "Sinister Political Agenda" might be (this time around) for re-announcing a "Fake Battlestar Press Release"....

1. (Speculation) Jack Paglen is a personal friend of Ron Meyer...the head honcho of the movie division at Universal Studios. Perhaps this "Battlestar" movie (if it is legit) is a personal favor to Jack Paglen from Ron Meyer...

Ron Meyer: "Listen Jack, I've got this movie coming up. It has absolutely nothing to do with 'Battlestar Galactica' in any way....but we're still calling it 'Battlestar Galactica' just to be mean to the fanboys. You're welcome to write it if you like....and throw in anything you like in to this movie. It just has to have giant robots and spaceships in it. We're looking to pull in the "Transformers" and "Pacific Rim" audiences. Interested?

Jack Paglen: "You betcha'!!"

Ron Meyer: "Throw in some topless, 25 year old women and come up with a quasi-military unit set here on Earth fighting the giant robots. Just like all of the other movies like "Transformers" and "Pacific Rim."

Jack Paglen: "I can do that!!"

2. (Speculation) This "Fake Battlestar Press Release" now resuming at a loose "Biennial" schedule is just Universal Studios way to continue being mean to the fanbase of "The 1978 Battlestar Galactica Series." Repeatedly re-announce this movie every two years never with any intention of actually making it.

3. (Speculation) Could Glen A. Larson really follow through with producing anything of this scope at his age? Be involved in anything of this scope in any significant capacity for any extended period of time at his age? I doubt his involvement in this thing in any capacity except as maybe an "Executive Consultant." (Glen sitting at home in an "Easy Chair" collecting a paycheck wile watching reruns of "Gilligan's Island.") This frees up Universal Studios to turn a "Battlestar Galactica" movie into anything and everything except "Battlestar Galactica." A smorgasbord of thoroughly nonsensical and unrelated space fantasy clichés thrown into one movie.

4. (Speculation) Universal Studios ownership of the "Battlestar Galactica" copyright is expiring so they need to throw together any piece of theatrical garbage with the "Battlestar Galactica" title slapped on it (actually unrelated to "Battlestar Galactica") in order to retain ownership of the property...in order to continue mismanaging it for the next 50 years.

I would say that pretty much covers it for now!!

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
