Let's see now. Bryan Singer has been dodging the issue of doing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie for the past decade. As far as he ever gets in his routine sham of feiging doing such a movie is merely announcing that he wants to do one. His announcements were in 2001, 2009, and 2011. Of course, Bryan Singer isn't the entire "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" all by his little lonesome. He is however, a fully integrated component of this conspiracy at Universal Studios. From what I can gather, the four primary components of this conspiracy at Universal Studios have been as follows:
Glen A. Larson - Retired for half a century and he'll be damned if making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie will interupt his retirement, no matter how many times he expresses his desire to make such a movie at comic book conventions. Larson is the center of gravity of this conspiracy.
Ronald D. Moore - Moore covers the "North Wing" of the "Anti-Galactica Conpiracy." His job is to give "Galactica" fans the exact opposite of what they want in such productions as "GINO", "Caprica", and "Blood & Chrome."
Bryan Singer - Singer covers the "South Wing" of the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy." His jobs are two fold: (1) Not give "Galactica" fans anything at all, not even the exact opposite of what they want, and (2) Announce his desire to make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie every two years beginning in 2009. A movie of course, that will never get made.
Tom DeSanto - DeSanto is the lonely runt of the litter. Bouncing all over the "East / West Wings" of the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy", eternally committed to being unsuccessful in pitching his ideas to the Universal brass for a "Galactica" movie.
"X-Men 4 & 5" are already Bryan Singer's immediate, next projects. He just hasn't said anything yet. And he won't say anything either until opening days for "X-Men 4 & 5." And Bryan Singer's modus operandi of course will be, not saying anything about the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he announced in 2011. However, he will continue making bogus announcments for the "Galactica" movie he has always wanted to direct since he was "yea high" in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021...etc.
