From the beginning of the "Bonnie Hammer - Universal Studios" era of the SyFy Channel (the network they gutted still being called "Sci-Fi" when they first invaded and took it over) to the present time, this network has been nothing but a "Far Right Conservative / Republican Loon-Bat Sister Channel" to FOX News, with its condescending attitude towards:

1. The entire Science Fiction genre
2. Science Fiction fans
3. The "Battlestar Galactica" property
4. "Battlestar Galactica" fans
5. Anything that smacks of genuine imagination

It can only be the next logical step in the SyFy Channel's continued de-evolution as a moral presence in the cable industry to put together a nightly newscast upchucking and embracing all of the "Toxic Nonsense" from the far right. The highest ranking "Loony Tunes" of the Republican Party of course, being the personal heroes of the SyFy Channel:
