The Universal Studios / Bryan Singer "Lack of Work Ethic Time Frame"

We have been through this nonsense one too many times with Universal Studios and Bryan Singer regarding a supposed "Battlestar Galactica" movie. For those of us keeping count, this will be the THIRD TIME that Universal and Singer will half-heartedly attempt to make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie together. If history is any indication of the future, this third attempt at making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie will get road-blocked by the flimsiest excuses imaginable such as:

1. Girl Scouts needing to cross the streets in Vancouver

2. Bryan Singer running the risk of missing out on his family's "Hanukkah" celebration.

3. Bryan Singer browses through the book "Green Eggs and Ham" - by Dr. Seuss and decides he would like to make a live action movie of that instead.

I'll give Universal Studios and Bryan Singer the benefit of the doubt in that we probably (realistically) won't hear about any significant progress with this movie until the 6 month mark. So, they're in the clear until April 2012. Past that time however, we should be hearing concrete casting news, seeing significant pre-production artwork being leaked on the Internet, and behind the scenes photos of Singer and filmmaking equipment on location.

Of course, if any of this comes to pass, the existence of flying elephants wll be simultaneously proven. This is Bryan Singer we're talking about here. Get Serious!!
