Trying to determine what movie Bryan Singer is actually working on at any given moment in time is alot like playing "Russian Roulette" with a loaded pistol. If Bryan Singer is considering directing four movies at the same time for example, he will choose one (and only one) and the other three movies are going to take the bullet and fall by the wayside. And you never know what movie Singer will decide to do. But you do know, that "Battlestar Galactica" will always be the one movie that Bryan Singer kicks to the curb in favor of the others, always. If Singer decides that he is going to focus all of his present attention on "The Six Billion Dollar Man" with Leonardo DiCaprio, then the other movies on his "Non-Commital Plate" are going to suffer:
1. Battlestar Galactica
2. X-Men 4
3. X-Men 5
This is the way Bryan Singer does business, and it's the way he has always done business. He may very well announce that he is diving right in to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie (as he did in October 2011), but what he doesn't tell you is that he also has two or three additional projects that he is considering simultaneously. Two or three additional projects competing for his attention along with "Battlestar Galactica." Two or three additional projects that always win his attention in the lottery, causing "Battlestar Galactica" to get kicked to the curb.
During the next 2-3 years, Bryan Singer is not going to be directing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie, because "Galactica" has already lost the lottery for Bryan Singer's attention. Singer has already decided that his next movie will be one of the following:
1. X-Men 4
2. X-Men 5
3. Six Billion Dollar Man
Despite the fact that it was only last month that Bryan Singer announced his desire to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie.
