What Movie Is Bryan Singer Actually Working On Right Now? No, Really

Trying to determine what movie Bryan Singer is actually working on at any given moment in time is alot like playing "Russian Roulette" with a loaded pistol. If Bryan Singer is considering directing four movies at the same time for example, he will choose one (and only one) and the other three movies are going to take the bullet and fall by the wayside. And you never know what movie Singer will decide to do. But you do know, that "Battlestar Galactica" will always be the one movie that Bryan Singer kicks to the curb in favor of the others, always. If Singer decides that he is going to focus all of his present attention on "The Six Billion Dollar Man" with Leonardo DiCaprio, then the other movies on his "Non-Commital Plate" are going to suffer:

1. Battlestar Galactica
2. X-Men 4
3. X-Men 5

This is the way Bryan Singer does business, and it's the way he has always done business. He may very well announce that he is diving right in to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie (as he did in October 2011), but  what he doesn't tell you is that he also has two or three additional projects that he is considering simultaneously. Two or three additional projects competing for his attention along with "Battlestar Galactica." Two or three additional projects that always win his attention in the lottery, causing "Battlestar Galactica" to get kicked to the curb.

During the next 2-3 years, Bryan Singer is not going to be directing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie, because "Galactica" has already lost the lottery for Bryan Singer's attention. Singer has already decided that his next movie will be one of the following:

1. X-Men 4
2. X-Men 5
3. Six Billion Dollar Man

Despite the fact that it was only last month that Bryan Singer announced his desire to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie.

Does SyFy Channel Keep Its "Caprica" Forum Around For Sentimental Reasons?

http://www.amazon.com/Caprica-Sucks-Channel-Misfires-Ronald/dp/1451556225/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1322603716&sr=1-1

It was the good old days for the SyFy Channel, right? When they and Ronald D. Moore were producing one of the worst television shows in history, while SyFy Channel was simultaneously sticking it to the "Battlestar Galactica" fanbase but good. Right?

Once again, the low ratings of a Ronald D. Moore production didn't phase the SyFy Channel. They were sticking it to the "Battlestar Galactica" fanbase via "Caprica" by God!!

So they delusionally thought!!

What's Next For The SyFy Channel? A Far Right, Republican, "Loon-Bat" Newscast?

http://www.amazon.com/Glenn-Beck-News-Republican-Party/dp/145389232X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1322582363&sr=1-1

Make no mistake. From the beginning of the "Bonnie Hammer - Universal Studios" era of the SyFy Channel (the network they gutted still being called "Sci-Fi" when they first invaded and took it over) to the present time, this network has been nothing but a "Far Right Conservative / Republican Loon-Bat Sister Channel" to FOX News, with its condescending attitude towards:

1. The entire Science Fiction genre
2. Science Fiction fans
3. The "Battlestar Galactica" property
4. "Battlestar Galactica" fans
5. Anything that smacks of genuine imagination

It can only be the next logical step in the SyFy Channel's continued de-evolution as a moral presence in the cable industry to put together a nightly newscast upchucking and embracing all of the "Toxic Nonsense" from the far right. The highest ranking "Loony Tunes" of the Republican Party of course, being the personal heroes of the SyFy Channel:

1. John Boehner
2. Mitch McConnell
3. Eric Cantor
4. Michelle Bachmann
5. Sarah Palin
6. Newt Gingrich
7. Herman Cain
8. Mitt Romney
9. Glenn Beck
10. Rush Limbaugh
11. Scott Walker
12. Bill O'Reilly
13. Sean Hannity
14. Gretchen Carlson
15. Ann Coulter

Yes, a "Far-Right Republican Loon-Bat" newscast would be right up the alley of the SyFy Channel.

Side Note: The SyFy Channel sucks as much as it does because it's owned and managed by a bunch of crazy-ass Republicans.

Watch Super Smackdown On The SyFy Channel!!

Because an insignficant, piss-pot little cable channel called "SyFy" is the first cable destination everyone thinks of when sports related programming crosses their minds. Not say, ESPN.

The infamous Bonnie Hammer, David Howe, and Mark Stern strike again.

Keep in mind children, that "SyFy" is part of the same corporation that brought us the daily trash fest known as "Maury Povich." Poisoning your local stations for years now.

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer's Mishandling of "Battlestar Galactica" Can Be Turned Into a Drinking Game

http://www.atomicmall.com/view.php?id=1689270

Premise

For every month that passes without any new updates on the new (supposed) "Battlestar Galactica" movie from Universal Studios and Bryan Singer, spin the wheel on the 1st of every new month. Where the wheel stops is of no significance.  Everybody in your party group takes a shot regardless.

The shots start off mild. From months 1-6, fill the shot glasses with "Apple Pie." From months 7-12, fill the shot glasses with "Rum." From months 13-18, fill the shot glasses with "Corn Whiskey." From months 19-24 fill the shot glasses with anything that would tranquilize an elephant for 8 hours.

That elephant looks like it's going to get tranquilized, because Bryan Singer is inching closer and closer to directing the "Six Billion Dollar Man" with Leonardo Dicaprio, isn't he?

Bryan Singer And Universal Studios Complement Each Other Perfectly

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1322445255&sr=1-2

Between the two of them, nothing has gotten done with "Battlestar Galactica" for the past 11 years.

The most unproductive team in entertainment history.

How fortunate for the two of them that they found one another. It must have been love at first sight.

From The Studio That Couldn't Even Deliver a Director's Cut of "Saga of a Star World" In The 2000s...

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1322327602&sr=1-2

"...Now Claims Yet Again (For The Umpteenth Time) That It Will Deliver a "Battlestar Galactica" Movie In Two years with Bryan Singer Directing..."

As a corporation, Universal Studios has never had the intellectual capacity to deliver big with "Battlestar Galactica." Universal Studios needs to initially set its horizons less grandiose in the beginning, and then gradually work its way up to a theatrical film.

Universal Studios needs to do a "Director's Cut" of "Saga of a Star World." The very same, far superior "Saga of a Star World" that Richard A. Colla originally directed as a favor to Universal executive George Santoros.

You see, when Glen A. Larson and ABC-TV executives viewed Richard A. Colla's "Saga of a Star World", they deemed it too intellectual, too adult, and too scary for mass market television audiences in 1978 (the same mass market television audiences that had seen Alex Haley's "Roots" a year earlier on ABC-TV, complete with slaves getting whipped and having their feet chopped off) so Larson proceeded to fire Richard A. Colla and replace his far superior footage (Jim Peck reporting on the progress of the armistice signing on the surface of Caprica, Boxey delivering the killer line "people can die at any age, can't they?"...the original Adama / Athena scene with Adama overwhelmed with the burden he had undertaken) with the typical watered down, less intellectual footage all too common and preferred by television networks in 1978 (Jane Seymour now reporting on the armistice signing, Boxey turned into a jolly Adam Rich straight out of "Eight is Enough", the Adama / Athena scene reshot where it took all of the guts and genuine emotion out of the scene.)

Universal Studios needs to release Richard A. Colla's "Saga of a Star World" on DVD in order to prove to the world that they can at least do that before making any "Battlestar Galactica" movie with Bryan Singer.

Of course, Universal Studios will ultimately fail to deliver on both counts.

Universal Studios "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" Cohorts Never Seem To Be Major Players In Hollywood

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1322178724&sr=1-2

Observing the various individuals involved in the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" at Universal Studios over the years, I have noted that not one of them have ever been been an "A-List Producer" or an "A-List Director." They all have been "B-Movie" and below has beens and never weres. "Has Been" of course, is being generous in the description department.

Bryan Singer -

If Bryan Singer was ever an "A-List Director" I must have slept through it, because the best he has ever been able to come up with is the supremely disappointing "Superman Returns" and the supremely boring first "X-Men" movie. No wonder he has had so much free time in the world to half-heartedly contemplate doing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie during the past decade.

Ronald D. Moore -

Ronald D. Moore isn't working anymore after dabbling in such "B-Grade Schlock" as "GINO" and "Caprica." Such "B-Grade Schlock" tends to whittle down your employment options.

David Eick -

Ditto

Glen A. Larson -

The less said the better.

All of these individuals have had all of the free time in the world during the past decade to either DESICCATE the "Battlestar Galactica" property or not do anything with it at all.

I guess this is how individuals in Hollywood that are not "A-List Talent" choose to spend their limitless free time. They jump on the Universal Studios "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" bandwagon.

Bryan Singer's Short Attention Span Is Confirmed. He's Already Pulling Away From "Battlestar Galactica"

Bryan Singer looks through the lens of the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" at Universal Studios he is involved in.

http://movies.ign.com/articles/121/1212616p1.html?RSSwhen2011-11-16_000000&RSSid=1212616

History repeats itself again and again with Bryan Singer doesn't it? It has barely been a month since Bryan Singer (yet again) verbally expressed his desire to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" (only because the studio in charge of "Excalibur" pulled the plug on that project), and Bryan Singer already has three projects lined up that he will most likely abandon the "Battlestar Galactica" movie for.

1. "X-Men 4"
2. "X-Men 5"
3. "The Six Billion Dollar Man"

It has now become standard procedure for Bryan Singer to line up multiple projects to work on (simultaneously no less!!) immediately after announcing his desire to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie. Singer likes to pile on his multiple projects really thick (like a "Double Decker Pastrami on Rye Bread" sandwich) immediately after announcing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie doesn't he?

We already know that Bryan Singer is not presently working on this supposed "Battlestar Galactica" movie he announced last month because right now he is too busy waiting for script approval from Leonardo DiCaprio to star in his "Six Billion Dollar Man" movie.

We also know what happens every single time Bryan Singer has this many projects lined up at one time including "Battlestar Galactica."

"Battlestar Galactica" gets kicked to the curb EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Only this time, Bryan Singer doesn't have the excuses of the "9/11 disaster" and the "Exclalibur" movie to fall back on.

What's Up, Cuz? Am I In Your "Five?"

Are we beginning to narrow in on what the SyFy Channel really is? It isn't a Science Fiction channel. It isn't a fantasy channel.

The SyFy Channel is a "hip, urban, hop-hip" oasis for "Generation Z-ers."

I like my "SyFy Thangy" straight from my Ipod. My Ipod is in my "five!!" If you're using my Ipod you're in my "five!!"

SyFy Channel isn't about "anythang!!" It's just in my "five" and I dig it whenever it's in my "five!!" You dig?

We laugh, we dig, we "hop-hip" on the SyFy Channel cuz the SyFy Channel is my cuz!! You dig?

I don't know what I am. SyFy Channel don't know what it is. But we still "dig" in my "five." you dig?

SyFy Channel got the "John Doe" vibe going on in my "five." You dig? I take the SyFy Channel into my "five" cuz SyFy Channel got the "amnesia vibe" going on in its self. It don't know what it is but it still wants to "rap" in my "five."

So I say bring it on in my "five", SyFy!!

Bryan Singer Is Part Of The Anti-Galactica Conspiracy At Universal Studios

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321726757&sr=1-2

Let's see now. Bryan Singer has been dodging the issue of doing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie for the past decade. As far as he ever gets in his routine sham of feiging doing such a movie is merely announcing that he wants to do one. His announcements were in 2001, 2009, and 2011. Of course, Bryan Singer isn't the entire "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy" all by his little lonesome. He is however, a fully integrated component of this conspiracy at Universal Studios. From what I can gather, the four primary components of this conspiracy at Universal Studios have been as follows:

Glen A. Larson - Retired for half a century and he'll be damned if making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie will interupt his retirement, no matter how many times he expresses his desire to make such a movie at comic book conventions. Larson is the center of gravity of this conspiracy.

Ronald D. Moore - Moore covers the "North Wing" of the "Anti-Galactica Conpiracy." His job is to give "Galactica" fans the exact opposite of what they want in such productions as "GINO", "Caprica", and "Blood & Chrome."

Bryan Singer - Singer covers the "South Wing" of the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy." His jobs are two fold: (1) Not give "Galactica" fans anything at all, not even the exact opposite of what they want, and (2) Announce his desire to make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie every two years beginning in 2009. A movie of course, that will never get made.

Tom DeSanto - DeSanto is the lonely runt of the litter. Bouncing all over the "East / West Wings" of the "Anti-Galactica Conspiracy", eternally committed to being unsuccessful in pitching his ideas to the Universal brass for a "Galactica" movie.

"X-Men 4 & 5" are already Bryan Singer's immediate, next projects. He just hasn't said anything yet. And he won't say anything either until opening days for "X-Men 4 & 5." And Bryan Singer's modus operandi of course will be, not saying anything about the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he announced in 2011. However, he will continue making bogus announcments for the "Galactica" movie he has always wanted to direct since he was "yea high" in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021...etc.

New Top Secret Video Smuggled Out Of The Universal Studios "Black Tower!!"

This new video smuggled out of the Universal Studios "Black Tower" clearly measures the progress Bryan Singer and Universal Studios are making with their supposed new "Battlestar Galactica" movie!!

Yep!! A dog staring at a fuckin' wall.

Chaos Reigns Supreme At Universal Studios Involving "Battlestar Galactica." So What Else Is New?

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321559495&sr=1-2

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/debbiedowner/news/?a=49900

Words of advice to Universal Studios:

You're not pulling anything on the general public if they already know well in advance (through three decades of experience) that you are trying to pull something. You see, Universal Studios. You can only pull something on the general public if they aren't aware that you're doing so.

So, what can we gather from the article above?

1. The Bryan Singer "Galactica" movie announcement from a few weeks ago was yet another bullshit movie announcement from Universal Studios and Bryan Singer.

2. The studio executive charged with moving this project forward isn't moving this project forward (like he is supposed to be doing) because he is involved with something else.

3. The status of this movie right now is a bunch of pre-production paraphernalia rotting on someone's desk with no script. Paraphernalia no doubt left over from one of Bryan Singer's earlier attempts at making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie (in 2001 and 2009) before he "bailed out" on both attempts.

4. Bryan Singer (as usual, as always) is saying nothing further to elaborate on the situation.

5. Universal Studios remains the "dysfunctional holy terror" it always has been towards "Battlestar Galactica" regardless of what year and decade it is.

Side Note

You mean Bryan Singer hasn't killed his career already with "Superman Returns?" The movie he thought would fly despite the fact that Brandon Routh hardly had any dialogue in it, and despite the fact that "Superman" and "Lois Lane" barely said two words to each other?

SyFy Channel / Universal Studios Is Green Alright

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321484018&sr=1-2

Green - Deficient in sophistication and savoir faire: Deficient in training, knowledge or experience: Naive: Not fully qualified for or experienced in a particular function.

-Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary

Yes, Universal Studios fumbling of the "Battlestar Galactica" property for the past 33 years can most definitely be considered "Green."

Everyone who has ever come into contact with "Battlestar Galactica" at Universal Studios and SyFy Channel has repeatedly demonstrated that internal corporate talent for keeping the train crash going for decades after the train crash first manifest itself in the summer of 1979. And the train crash is continuing with the latest news that Bryan Singer wants a third attempt at making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie if he doesn't bail out on it for a third time.

I think the one segment of the definition of "Green" that really nails on the head how Universal Studios and SyFy Channel have been towards "Battlestar Galactica" is:

"Not fully qualified for or experienced in a particular function."

"Uh-Oohh!!" X-Men 4 & 5 Are In Development With The Forces Of The Universe Tugging On Bryan Singer

http://www.hollywood.com/news/X_Men_4_X_Men_5_Are_In_Development_Bryan_Singer_Might_Direct/7778312

Dangle a carrot in front of Bryan Singer such as the opportunity to direct "X-Men 4", and you will see Bryan Singer abandon his latest claim to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie in the wink of an eye. Yes, Bryan Singer has supposedly dived right in (head first) into his latest attempt at directing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie immediately after the "Excalibur" movie died (and after Singer bailed out on two previous opportunities to direct a "Battlestar" movie in 2001 and 2009.) History has unfortunately proven that when the opportunity to direct an "X-Men" movie is dangled in front of Bryan Singer while he is prepping a "Battlestar Galactica" movie, he will abandon "Battlestar" every single time.

It's coming, isn't it? Just like in 2001, an "X-Men" movie is in development at the same time as a "Battlestar" movie supposedly is. And just like in 2001, Bryan Singer is at the same emotional maturity level he always has been in, which isn't saying much for him. So, the same identical circumstances are moving forward to repeat themselves in 2011 just as they did in 2001. If a "Battlestar" movie is actually moving forward and Bryan Singer is in the middle of prepping it when the request comes his way to direct "X-Men 4", it's going to be "bye, bye Battlestar" once again for Bryan Singer.

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer Remind Me Of Sleazy Business Owners

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321241617&sr=1-2

Businesses in general these days have become increasingly sleazy in their inability to exhibit a bare minimum work ethic. I'm sure this sort of thing has happened to all of us way too frequently. We call the cable company to come out and install our cable, or we call a plumber, or we call an electrician. What do all of these idiots say to us regardless of what profession they are in?

"Yeah, we'll be out to your home sometime between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm."

In other words, businesses nowadays (in their routine incompetence) give themselves a wide window of opportunity to get their lazy asses out to your home.

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer are no different. They have granted themselves a wide window of opportunity spanning the next two decades to get off of their lazy asses and finally make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie.

Wikipedia has been so kind as to update the next projection date of Bryan Singer's highly improbable "Battlestar Galactica" movie. The projection date has now been updated to 2013, provided of course that such routine daily road blocks (common to Universal Studios) as a troop build-up in Afghanistan doesn't get in the way of Universal Studios and Bryan Singer making their stupid ass movie. Don't doubt it. Universal Studios and Bryan Singer would figure out some way to make a war in Afganistan shut down their movie.

You Mean, The "Battlestar Galactica" Copyright Hasn't Lapsed Into The Public Domain Completely Yet?

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321209268&sr=1-2

It sure feels like "Battlestar Galactica" hasn't been owned by anyone competent or intelligent for decades and decades, doesn't it? Universal Studios reminds me of the typical "Absentee Landlord" who allows his apartment complex to have plumbing problems, heating problems, plaster falling from the ceiling, and cockroaches all over the damn place. I think everything "wrong" Universal Studios has done with the "Battlestar Galactica" property for the past 33 years indicates an "Absentee Landlord" and the blatant appearance of the "Battlestar Galactica" property lapsing into the public domain via neglect. Up to and including

1. Bryan Singer's continued nebulous involvement with the property via his continued movie announcements every three years.

2. Ronald D. Moore's total sabotage of the property.

3. Inferior merchandise continuously released of the property ("Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Epic Series") DVD set.

This isn't the first time Universal Studios has allowed one of its properties to lapse into the public domain. Back in 2004, they released the first two seasons of "Dream On", the outstanding HBO comedy series starring Brian Benben. Now? You can watch the remaining episodes of "Dream On" on widespread bootleg DVD. Of course, if Universal Studios has bothered to release the remaining seasons of "Dream On" on DVD, there wouldn't be bootleg discs all over the damn place now would there? And Universal Studios allowed the exact same thing to happen to "Weird Science -The Television Series."

Nothing constructive ever has or ever will happen with the "Battlestar Galactica" property because from all appearances it looks like it is lapsing into the public domain via neglect. Universal Studios 33 year old abuse of the property had to reach an apogee of some sort eventually, now didn't it? When you abuse something that much for such an extended period of time, "all that goes around comes around" will eventually come to a head, right? And many times not to the abuser's liking.

Ronald D. Moore Proved That He Was No Rick Berman When It Came To Honoring What Came Before

Rick Berman has gone down in television history as "The Greatest Science Fiction Television Producer of All Time." Not only did he thoroughly understand what "Star Trek" was as it was originally laid out in the original series starring William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, but he also built on the proud legacy of the Shatner / Nimoy series in "Star Trek - The Next Generation", "Deep Space Nine", "Voyager", and "Enterprise." Rick Berman's love of "Star Trek" was evident in every single episode of every of the above series he produced.

Ronald D. Moore on the other hand, didn't give a shit about the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series. Ronald D. Moore was a neophyte television producer on a "Frat House Boy Rampage" self indulging himself over the fact that he was given the inexplicable opportunity to executive produce a television series called "Battlestar Galactica" that had absolutely nothing  to do with "Battlestar Galactica" as it was originally laid out in the 1978 series. Ronald D. Moore's "gig" with the old Sci-Fi Channel was a sad example of self indulgence carried as far as any human being could take it. Never in my life had I witnessed a television producer so unbelievably wrapped up in himself as he continued to crank out episodes of his low rated series that no one wanted to watch and wasn't watching. Moore's attitude all along was..."What can I get out of this? How can the world love me more while I'm doing this? How can I stick it to the fans of the original 1978 series while I'm having my personal orgy of self love?" With Ronald D. Moore, it was never about building on what came before with the 1978 series (which was some damn good stuff), but rather building a personal ego project for himself. Not only did Ronald D. Moore not like the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series, but he also didn't like its fanbase either. The 1978 series and its fanbase kept getting in the way of Ronald D. Moore trying to pleasure himself while doing his "GINO" series.

Because of this, Ronald D. Moore has gone down in history as the "Worst Science Fiction Television Producer of All Time."

The Evidence Continues To Mount And Mount, That Universal Studios Should Not Own "Battlestar Galactica"

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321065108&sr=1-2

1. "Blood & Chrome" (a stupid ass idea in the first place) continues to float between a web series or a SyFy Channel series.

2. Bryan Singer and Universal Studios continue to announce the "Battlestar Galactica" movie they want to make every three years or so. Expect their next announcement to make this very same movie in 2014.

3. "GINO" and "Caprica" were the most commercially unsuccessful television series of all time. Episodes from both series continuing to collect dust in the Universal Studios vaults because television programmers don't want to buy them for syndication. DVD sets from both series collecting dust on Amazon.com despite huge discounts.

4. The "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series, the engine room of what any ongoing "Galactica" franchise should be, continues to be the sleeping giant it always has been since 1979.

This isn't the normal business trajectory of any copyright / property. This is the dysfunctional meanderings of an indecisive, broken, and dysfunctional corporate entity known as Universal Studios that could care less as to how to properly manage the "Battlestar Galactica" property. Translation: Universal Studios isn't sane. Plain and simple. After 33 years, Universal Studios continues to be all over the map in their handling of the "Battlestar Galactica" property.

As far as Universal Studios is concerned, "Battlestar Galactica" is a little bit of Ronald D. Moore and a little bit of Bryan Singer mixed together and simmered in a delightful "Botulism Sauce."

I'll stick with the reruns of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series.

Bryan Singer Never Had Any Intention Of Doing "Battlestar Galactica" Before "Excalibur" Died

http://www.firstshowing.net/2011/bryan-singers-battlestar-galactica-getting-life-after-excalibur-dies/

From the article, it is very clear that he had abandoned the "Battlestar Galactica" movie project he was supposed to begin in 2009, to direct "Jack The Giant Killer." It is also very clear that he fully intended for "Excalibur" to be his next movie project immediately after "Jack The Giant Killer." "Battlestar Galactica" wasn't even on his horizon before "Excalibur" died.

I'm sorry, but I have no enthusiasm for this idiot who may eventually get his hands on "Battlestar Galactica." An idiot who placed the "Battlestar Galactica" movie so low on his priority list, that as of two months ago, he wouldn't even consider working on it because "Excalibur" was still on his immediate horizon. This indicates to me that Bryan Singer never had an interest in doing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie at all, and the only reason why he may be doing such a movie right now, is because everything else on his priority list dried up.

And this idiot is the best that Universal Studios could get to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie? What sort of "Battlestar Galactica" movie would get made by a director who really doesn't have genuine interest or enthusiasm for the project at all? A "Battlestar Galactica" movie with a decimated core premise, a bad script, bad casting, bad directing, bad producing, and bad everything else. If this movie gets made at all, it will be a quickie little romp to the drive-thru window at "Burger King" for Bryan Singer. A quickie little B-Movie for Bryan Singer to keep himself busy until "Excalibur" might get the green light again. This movie is a time killer for Bryan Singer, if it gets made at all.

Bryan Singer's IMDB Page Is Entertaining To Say The Least

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001741/

Gee, no mention of a "Battlestar Galactica" movie in 2012 or 2013. Of course, the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he was supposed to have been making since 2009 is no longer listed in the "2011 Year" category.

Scrolling down to the bottom of the page, we also discover that Bryan Singer made no friends with his "Superman Returns" movie.

Bryan Singer should apologize to Steven Spielberg for Spielberg wasting his time in representing Singer in the Director's Guild.

As Usual, As Always...The Silence Is Deafening With Bryan Singer and Universal Studios

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320951865&sr=1-2

I wonder why Universal Studios and Bryan Singer continue with this perpetuating sham of theirs, where everyone knows damn well they will never make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie together despite their periodic claims that they will. To follow through with such an announcement would require oodles of professionalism and  psychological maturity & adulthood, blessings both Bryan Singer and Universal Studios have always lacked. It's a partnership that never could realistically produce a "Battlestar Galactica" movie because Universal Studios is an insane corporation and Bryan Singer is a B-Movie director with an attention span of about 5 minutes everytime he announces his intent to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie. After a decade, the two of them haven't produced one thing together. What does that tell you about any work ethic allegedly existing between the two of them?

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer don't make movies together, they merely announce them. Universal Studios and Bryan Singer never have a partnership together, they merely announce one. Universal Studios and Bryan Singer will never be successful together, they merely want to be. Universal Studios and Bryan Singer could never sucessfully revive "Battlestar Galactica", because neither one of them are mass market visionairies, and neither one of them give a shit about "Battlestar Galactica." Universal Studios and Bryan Singer will always be a would be filmmaking partnership in eternal limbo because neither one of them have the self discipline and work ethic to put fire under their own asses and get to work.

We will find out at some point that Universal Studios and Bryan Singer were never working on a "Battlestar Galactica" movie together. It might be 12 months from now, it might be 18 months from now. The absence of a "Battlestar Galactica" movie on theater screens 2 years from now will tell us everything we need to know. Namely, that Universal Studios and Bryan Singer were up to their usual juvenile games. Their usual, juvenile games the general public already knows well in advance will eventually manifest.

Is Bryan Singer Entering His "Status Quo Incubation Period?"

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320785216&sr=1-2

Let's see if I have the mathematical formula down pat:

"Battlestar Galactica Movie Announcement + Bryan Singer's Involvement = 18 Month Incubation Period"

Yes, we are at that point once again in "Battlestar Galactica" fandom. Where (once again) a new "Battlestar Galactica" movie has been announced and (once again) Bryan Singer is slated to be the director, and (once again) we won't hear a word from Bryan Singer regarding this supposed movie project (ever again) for the next 18 months (at the very least.) Beyond the 18 month period from now (April 2013 and beyond), Bryan Singer will "pop" up again in the tabloid Internet news, announcing that he is directing "X-Men 12" or whatever else will strike his fancy in the next two years. Of course, he will make no mention of the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he was supposed to have been directing since November 2011.

Do I have your sleazy work habits down pat...Bryan Singer?

You pulled the exact same thing with "Battlestar Galactica" in 2001 and 2009.

Why not make it "three strikes" and you're out?

Your career couldn't get any worse with "three strikes." Right, Bryan Singer?

"Battlestar Galactica" Keeps Suffering From Crappy Filmmakers Putting Their Own Careers Ahead of What's Best For The Property

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320681892&sr=1-2

With Ronald D. Moore, it was never about "what is best for Battlestar Galactica?" It was everything about "what is best for Ronald D. Moore's career, ego, status among peers, and adulation." Of course, Moore failed to achieve all of that because he is a crappy producer and a crappy scriptwriter. During the unfortunate era of  "GINO" and "Caprica" (primarily "GINO"), I had never before witnessed in my life such a group of self indulgent low lifes (Universal Studios, the old Sci-Fi Channel, Bonnie Hammer, and Ronald D. Moore) lashing out at everyone (including the general public) in order to misuse the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name in order to try and further their own careers and status among peers. Let's also not forget that the lot of them were also seeking masturbatory adulation.

Somewhere along the way, what was best for the "Battlestar Galactica" brand name, such as mass market attractiveness, mass market acceptance, and good storytelling wasn't even considered. This was all about Bonnie Hammer and Ronald D. Moore wanting to be accepted within avant garde social circles because they were insane enough to depict infanticide on the television screen, having absolutely nothing to do with "Battlestar Galactica." Edward James Olmos was no better, ignorantly declaring that he would not do Ronald D. Moore's stupid ass show if it had any extra-terrestrial creatures in it. Gee, aren't Science Fiction television series always supposed to have extra-terrestrial creatures in it? Olmos no doubt feeling that appearing in the same television series as extra-terrestrial creatures would damage his career (what career?) Instead, Edward James Olmos damaged himself in "GINO" with his crappy acting. Was that 35 consecutive minutes in this week's episode where Edward James Olmos FROWNED?

Now we have Bryan Singer wanting to take his usual umpteenth stab at the "Battlestar Galactica" property because he bailed out on his first two opportunities to make such a movie (in 2001 and 2009.) So again, this isn't about what is best for the "Battlestar Galactica" property in terms of the necessity of reviving the original format, and doing what is best for the property in terms of mass market acceptance and profitability (the original format from the 1978 series), but this is about misusing the property in order for Bryan Singer to get what he personally wants from it (such as a long dormant career boost.) So, Singer is going to go in there and redesign everything with fresh (and far inferior to the original) spacecraft designs to try and market to the toy companies, with his name firmly attached to get a piece of the pie. Maybe from there, he might actually get more frequent directing assignments!! Certainly more than he gets now!! Could his history of bailing out on projects have something to do with that? Of course he will also want to change the format and characters to put his personal stamp on it in order to try and advance his own career.

Bonnie Hammer once infamously stated that "fans cannot drive the creative process." Of course they can't!! If they did, they would interfere with the likes of Bonnie Hammer, Ronald D. Moore, and Bryan Singer trying to be accepted within avante garde social circles via misusing the "Battlestar Galactica" property. If fans actually drove the creative process, we would get an appropriate and satisfying revival of "Battlestar Galactica" without all of the corporate egos involved. Imagine that!! A faithful and satisfying revival of the "1978 Battlestar Galactica" series without Universal Studios involved, without SyFy Channel involved, without Bonnie Hammer involved, without Ronald D. Moore involved, and without Bryan Singer involved.

It would be NIRVANA to say the least.

The Universal Studios / Bryan Singer "Lack of Work Ethic Time Frame"

http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Studios-1978-Battlestar-Galactica/dp/1434895408/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1320681892&sr=1-2

We have been through this nonsense one too many times with Universal Studios and Bryan Singer regarding a supposed "Battlestar Galactica" movie. For those of us keeping count, this will be the THIRD TIME that Universal and Singer will half-heartedly attempt to make a "Battlestar Galactica" movie together. If history is any indication of the future, this third attempt at making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie will get road-blocked by the flimsiest excuses imaginable such as:

1. Girl Scouts needing to cross the streets in Vancouver

2. Bryan Singer running the risk of missing out on his family's "Hanukkah" celebration.

3. Bryan Singer browses through the book "Green Eggs and Ham" - by Dr. Seuss and decides he would like to make a live action movie of that instead.

I'll give Universal Studios and Bryan Singer the benefit of the doubt in that we probably (realistically) won't hear about any significant progress with this movie until the 6 month mark. So, they're in the clear until April 2012. Past that time however, we should be hearing concrete casting news, seeing significant pre-production artwork being leaked on the Internet, and behind the scenes photos of Singer and filmmaking equipment on location.

Of course, if any of this comes to pass, the existence of flying elephants wll be simultaneously proven. This is Bryan Singer we're talking about here. Get Serious!!
