In plain view for all to see, the widescreen transfers of the...."1978 Battlestar Galactica"....series in this abominable Blu-Ray set were clearly not done properly with blurry images and Universal Studios typically questionable process of..."Widescreening".....older television shows not meant to be...."Widescreened".... Yet this behind the scenes video on the Blu-Ray tries to give the false impression that Universal Studios did consumers some sort of favor in a self congratulatory manner that a technical marvel was achieved with this Blu-Ray set....complete with stealth marketing praise on http://www.amazon.com. Obvious stealth marketing praise (and not valid reviews) that doesn't even criticize (or bring up at all) the shitty box art of this Blu-Ray set as well. Universal Studios has never done anything properly with the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica"....series....EVER (going back 37 consecutive years.) It just has a..."Stealth Marketing Apparatus"....firmly and permanently in place to always try and pass off what they do as valid. No matter how shitty it really is. Oh, and one more thing....The only way the original negatives of the...."1978 Battlestar Galactica"....series could have suffered erosion, decay, and decline over the decades is if Universal Studios didn't store them properly in the first place over the decades in air tight protection and in environment controlled protection. Which is the case here since these technicians (in the above video) state that restoration to some degree was necessary.
