Is Bryan Singer Hoping That This Movie Richard Donner is (Probably) Really Directing Will Be Known as "The Bryan Singer Movie?"

http://www.digitalspy.com/movies/news/a494272/x-men-days-of-future-past-bryan-singer-promises-international-flair.html

A few items and opinions worth noting....

1. Bryan Singer promoted the hell out of "Jack The Giant Slayer" and look where that got him. Mass market audiences didn't care if Bryan Singer directed "Jack The Giant Slayer" or not (partially because they didn't know who he was)....They didn't go and see the movie because it wasn't a good movie.

2. This will probably also be the case with "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

3. Singer is obviously banking on "X-Men: Days of Future Past" being "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation" for his career regardless of whether or not he is in the director's chair. In this regard, he seems to be pushing it (via endless self promotion) as being less an "X-Men" movie and all about being..."The Bryan Singer Movie."

4. The previous (consecutive) box office failures of "Jack The Giant Slayer"..."Valkyrie"....and "Superman Returns" seems to have turned Singer into a compulsive / obsessive with self promotion on the Internet.

5. Audiences don't care if a movie has "International Flair" (filming locations all over the world) or if the movie is filmed on green screen soundstages (insert "Venice" background here) in Vancouver. All they care about is the end product. Is it a good movie? Does it have a good story? "International Flair" seems to be a "Self Promotion Tag" Singer is trying to label himself with to get everyone psyched about "The Bryan Singer Movie" and not an "X-Men" movie. Of course, since mass market movie audiences don't really know who Bryan Singer is, it's anyone's guess who exactly it is Singer is trying to get psyched up about this movie.

6. This level of Internet based self promotion seems to be desperation on Bryan Singer's part as no other director in Hollywood needs to do this. All other directors in Hollywood just quietly go out and make their movies....and let the studios promote them at the time of release. Bryan Singer has been promoting the hell out of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (all by himself) a year before its supposedly scheduled release...long before the studio begins promoting it. What does this tell you about Bryan Singer and his present status in Hollywood after the consecutive failures of "Jack The Giant Slayer"..."Valkyrie"....and "Superman Returns?" He really, really needs this movie to not fail. That should be no problem at all as long as Richard Donner is really directing it.

Now Here is a Recipe For Absolute Disaster. Develop a Television Series That Sounds Boring as Hell to Begin With. Then Hire Ronald D. Moore (The King of All Boring Television) as The Showrunner

http://variety.com/2013/tv/news/starz-greenlights-outlander-from-battlestar-galactica-exec-producer-1200501683/

Wow!! Just reading the plot of this television series put me on the brink of dozing off!! And then Ronald D. Moore is in charge of it?? He has mastery alright!! The mastery of putting television viewers to sleep!! More boring television from Ronald D. Moore!!

I take it this means that Ronald D. Moore's "Helix" project with the SyFy Channel has "bit the big one?" Oh darn!!

You Mean, a Project From Bryan Singer's "Cobwebbed Dusty Closet" of Aborted Projects Might Actually Get Made??

http://www.scotsman.com/lifestyle/film/bryan-singer-on-the-film-uwantme2killhim-1-2974014

If this is the case, then this project should reduce Singer's aborted projects by one!! Wow!! We're really making some progress now!! That will leave us at 27 aborted projects!!

Bryan Singer just needs to get caught more often on videotape making one of his "Fake Press Releases" as he was caught here on August 3rd, 2012 lying about a "Battlestar Galactica" movie he and Universal Studios haven't been making since 2001.

Remember What The Sci-Fi Channel Used to Be Like Before NBC-Universal and Bonnie Hammer Came Along and Utterly Decimated it With Corporate Idiocy?

The glorious Sci-Fi Channel circa 1996 before NBC-Universal and Bonnie Hammer came along and crapped all over it. Those were the days!!...When we actually had a Science Fiction channel instead of the...."God Knows What Channel!!"....

What is the on-air identity of this channel (corporate abomination) again?? History? Food? Cartoons? Music? Sports?

Let's not forget that in 2013, NBC-Universal's...."SyFy Channel"....won the "James Randi Educational Foundations...."Pigasus Award!!"

Wow!! Les Nessman of "WKRP" would be proud!!

The SyFy Channel's Website Doesn't Represent a Science Fiction Channel. It Instead Resembles an Odd, Mishmashed Platform (Display Case) For...

Such unrelated items as...Japanese Anime, and various miscellaneous toys you would see in a Classic "Sears Roebuck" Catalog, and a "Radio Shack" Flyer. Come and sell your shit (post it!!) on  http://www.syfy.com.

This is a channel without an identity!!

This is always what happens when NBC-Universal puts its corporate hands on anything having to do with Science Fiction....They wreck it for everybody else.

Since Ronald D. Moore & Bryan Singer Never Tried Very Hard to Treat Science Fiction / Fantasy With Any Sort of Respect or Fresh Ideas

....There is Yet Another Extremely Talented Replacement in The Science Fiction / Fantasy Arena Joining The Proud Ranks of Joss Whedon and Jon Favreau in talent....and permanently replacing Moore & Singer.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=hanselandgretelwitchhunters.htm

Meet Tommy Wirkola...The extremely talented writer and director of "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters."

Not only was his "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" the most original and fresh idea for a horror movie since "Lost Boys" in 1987 and "Ghostbusters" in 1984 (no vampires, zombies, or the umpteenth sequel to "Saw"), but also just as entertaining. "Original" and "Fresh" are two things we have never gotten from Ronald D. Moore & Bryan Singer and never will.

Imagine How Much Better The Past 35 Years Would Have Been For These Properties if Universal Studios Had Simply Never Owned Them

Every other movie studio / corporation on the face of the Earth would have found constructive uses for these properties during the past 35 years. Unfortunately, these properties got stuck with Universal Studios as their owner. The top one would even have been the third legitimate (and current) alternative to "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" enjoying its 35th year of unprecedented growth.

Unfortunately, when Universal Studios owns Science Fiction properties one of the following always occurs...

1. Nothing constructive happens with the properties because Universal Studios always rests its great big "Corporate A**" on the properties for decades.

2. Something incredibly stupid happens with the properties usually via a severely flawed misinterpretation of the properties...Such as Ronald D. Moore's sham take on "Battlestar Galactica" or the SyFy Channel's sham take on "Flash Gordon."

It hasn't helped matters either that Universal Studios has always been a "Weird and Wacky Corporation" (eccentric) towards Science Fiction in general for decades.

How Universal Studios, Ronald D. Moore, and Bryan Singer Always Wreck Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" For Everyone Else (Mass Market Audiences)

These three "Messengers of Rigamortis" to the entire Science Fiction genre and "Battlestar Galactica" specifically...approach Science Fiction very, very differently from everyone else in Hollywood. They view Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" not as opportunities to entertain mass market Science Fiction audiences in a good natured way....but rather as instruments of malice in order to attempt to (1) further their own careers, (2) force feed their personal agendas to mass market Science Fiction audiences, (3) fragment already existing mass market Science Fiction audiences into scattered and ineffective voices of influence, (4) The SyFy Channel using their productions as nothing more than infomercials for video games ("Defiance.")

Universal Studios, Ronald D. Moore, and Bryan Singer never make any money on a noteworthy level with Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica" because the three of them are always at war with Science Fiction, "Battlestar Galactica", and its fans....and the three of them quite frankly do not like Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica." That plain as day message always comes through loud and clear in all of their productions. This collective attitude between the three of them of course, has led to all three of them "sucking really badly" at attempting Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica." They stink at it!! Plain and simple. They stink at it!! They collectively "suck" at what they do in the arenas of Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica."

The three of them should have been leveled with a long time ago by authoritative voices of reason...

"The three of you thoroughly suck at what you do in Science Fiction and "Battlestar Galactica. Choose another line of work and get the hell out of my sight."

In unfortunate circumstances like this, there is just no other way to be with Universal Studios, Ronald D. Moore, and Bryan Singer...You just have to be blunt with the three of them.

And don't even get me started on the endless barrage of "Fake Press Releases" always coming from Universal Studios and Bryan Singer related to "Battlestar Galactica" and other Science Fiction projects in general.

Good News!! We Have a "Real Superhero Movie Director" Returning to Do The Sequel to "The Avengers"

Unlike a certain "Cough!!" former director with the apt initials "B.S." supposedly directing the umpteenth sequel to the long worn out (and "Yawn" inducing) "X-Men" movie franchise.

Now these are superhero movies I can look forward to seeing because I know they won't be abandoned at some point by Joss Whedon!!

If There is One Thing Universal Studios and Ronald D. Moore Know How to Do Really Well...They Know How to Not Make Money With "Battlestar Galactica"

What the hell was this nonsense?

Or this?

 Or this?

All three productions were definitely some "Anti-Mass Market Wet Dream" for the studio executives who approved this nonsense.

Well, these three productions the NBC-Universal executives fought so hard for ultimately ended up right here....where all "Anti-Mass Market Misfires" end up....

You can't help but ask...."Was it really worth it for NBC-Universal executives to fight this hard for Ronald D. Moore's severely flawed vision?" Lord knows Ronald D. Moore's severely flawed misinterpretation of "Battlestar Galactica" did nothing to improve the "Credits Column" of NBC-Universal's "Balance Sheets."

I'm so looking forward to "Helix" and what SyFy Channel & Ronald D. Moore do with it!! (Rolling my eyes!!)

If There Ever Was a Time When Bryan Singer Was at The Top of His Game As a "Superhero Movie Director" (The Early 2000s Perhaps?)...

Those Days Are Long Gone and He Has Been Permanently Replaced by Jon Favreau and Joss Whedon....

Yes, from here on in I'll get my superhero entertainment from these two guys and these two guys only...

Not only did Jon Favreau prove that he can make thoroughly "Kick Ass" superhero movies with "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 2"...but he could also get a spectacular performance from his lead...Robert Downey Jr. Favreau is great with actors as a director!!

Joss Whedon handled an ensemble superhero movie better than Bryan Singer ever could. His "Avengers" movie not only successfully united (for the first time) all of the primary Marvel Comics characters in a live action "Kick Ass" movie, but he also has that gift as a director that Jon Favreau also has...Getting performances from his actors that are dramatic, funny, compelling, and exciting.

Bryan Singer's actors in the two "X-Men" movies he directed (in the early 2000s) weren't so animated and versatile in their performances. Singer's strong suit isn't directing actors (just look at the wooden performance and dialogue deficient performance of Brandon Routh in "Superman Returns.")

Since Ronald D. Moore Began Working For "Sony" He Never Really Stopped Working For "NBC-U / SyFy Channel"

...Because "NBC-U" Continues to Be The Only Entity (and Paying Customer) in Hollywood Stupid Enough to Be Interested in The Projects Ronald D. Moore is Developing at Sony.

Back in the 2000s, "NBC-U / SyFy Channel" was the only entity in all of Hollywood Ronald D. Moore could make a sale to ("GINO", "Craprica", "Blood & Chrome.")

When Ronald D. Moore left "NBC-U / SyFy Channel" to work for "Sony" in the 2010s....."NBC-U / SyFy Channel" continued to be the only entity in all of Hollywood Ronald D. Moore could make a sale to ("17th Precinct", "Helix.") And CBS-TV never did take to Moore's remake of "The Wild, Wild West", did they?

Everyone else in all Hollywood continues to not be the slightest bit interested in doing business with Ronald D. Moore.

Maybe it's because Ronald D. Moore's ideas continue to be highly boring and not the slightest bit interesting to everyone else in Hollywood....yet perfectly acceptable to the "Bone Heads & Potato Heads" at "NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel".....where the standards in taste will always be so much lower than everywhere else.

Why did Ronald D. Moore leave "NBC-U" to work for "Sony?" All that he has been doing is continuing to develop boring (and not commercially viable) concepts for "NBC-U" under a different roof.

Universal Studios and Bryan Singer Continue to Have an Extremely Troubled Past With "Battlestar Galactica" That is Not Fading Away...

...Neither From The Passage of Time Nor From The Two of Them Trying to Immerse Themselves in (Hide Behind) Other Projects...such as the supposedly legit "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

If you have no intention of making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie then don't announce that you are as Universal Studios and Bryan Singer did on October 21st, 2011 via this fake press release of theirs. And just as Universal Studios and Bryan Singer also did previously in 2009, 2008, and 2001.

Bryan Singer has become so...."Not Legit"....in these never ending streams of "Fake Press Releases" he routinely does that not only can you not trust a word he says anymore, but you also have to wait  for a movie to be be actually.....physically released with his name in the credits as the actual director as your personal confirmation that Singer did indeed direct it. Bryan Singer lies through his teeth and his "Habitual Stammer" in this "Fake Press Release" of his from August 3rd, 2012 about the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he was never working on announced earlier in the "Fake Press Release" above from October 21st, 2011. The same movie he claimed on October 21st, 2011..."He had closed a deal to direct."

Isn't This Interesting? While Not Doing Much of Anything, Michael Moore's "Celebrity Net Worth" is Only $20 Million Less Than Bryan Singer's

Michael Moore's "Celebrity Net Worth" is $50 Million.

http://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/directors/michael-moore-net-worth/

Bryan Singer busts his ass everyday issuing "Fake Press Releases" and "Fake Tweets" (Really not doing much of anything), and his "Celebrity Net Worth" (if you want to call it that) is only $70 Million. All of his "Fake Press Releases" and "Fake Tweets" have taken their toll I would think. So, Singer is roughly in the same range as Michael Moore. In other words, a lightweight in the Hollywood community.

The decades eventually change but his "Frown" never does!!

Just to have some fun and ridicule the guy even more (even if he really has nothing to do with the topic of this post), the "Celebrity Net Worth" of Edward James Olmos is only $14 Million. All of this "Frowning" has gotten Edward James Olmos really far, hasn't it?

I predict that the likes of Bryan Singer, Ronald D. Moore, David Eick, Edward James Olmos, and Bonnie Hammer are already fading (and will eventually fade permanently) from public view due to their collective inability to achieve superstardom in the first place, and will all be placed in the same "Has Been" category of former stand-up comedienne "Judy Tenuta." Never great or noteworthy to begin with, and then...."Poof"....gone from the public stage.

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. I'll leave the other 150 global locations under wraps for now.
