I'm guessing either a low budget horror movie for the SyFy Channel, or a sitcom for the Disney Channel.

Of course, Bryan Singer could direct either or both of them when he has some time off from directing the "Magnum Gold Ice Cream Commercials".......

Addressing The Ongoing Con Game of Bryan Singer on Multiple Fronts

Former theatrical film director Bryan Singer has two careers. His fantasy career that exists on the Internet filled with endless wonderment and fantastic tales about him directing the likes of "Logan's Run", "Excalibur", and "Battlestar Galactica"... and his real career in the real world not amounting to a hill of beans. Bryan Singer's career (or quite frankly what is left of it after the failure of "Superman Returns") now resembles a never ending Republican presidential campaign filled with one endless lie and contradiction after another. Bryan Singer has the "Republican Schtick" down to a tee, going so far as ignoring what he previously said on recorded videotape. Counting on the passage of time to fade from everyone's memory what he previously said.

Just three months ago, on August 3rd, 2012, Bryan Singer was claiming (in the press release above) that "Battlestar Galactica" was on track. Not so, we have learned three months later.

The fantastic tale of Bryan Singer's imaginary accomplishments in cinema exist only on the Internet. In the real world, this is what Bryan Singer has not accomplished...

Yes, what Bryan Singer's career really consists of in the real world, is this long list of aborted projects he announced and abandoned consecutively. Aborted projects of all shapes and sizes. Aborted theatrical films, aborted mini-series, and aborted television productions. The question is not only why has Bryan Singer been making these fake press releases and announcements (all displayed in the list above), but why is he continuing to make these fake press releases and announcents with his latest..."X-Men-Days of Future Past."

The question then becomes, who or what organization is repeatedly distributing these legitimate looking, fake press releases and announcements on Bryan Singer's behalf?

Bryan Singer has been doing this for so long that he apparently thinks that no one has caught on yet, that he is repeatedly doing nothing more than making empty headed press releases and announcements with no follow through. He apparently thinks that no one has caught on yet, that he and this unnamed and fraudulent "Press Release Organization" of his, spend more time on the Internet trying to build a fake career for Bryan Singer, than trying to build a real career for Bryan Singer in the real world with actual physical accomplishments. He apparently thinks that no has caught on yet, that after he makes one of these fake announcements of his, he waits a year in the hopes that the previous announcement will have faded from everyone's memory by that time, and then he makes another one.

One doesn't have to be an expert in how Hollywood does business to realize that Bryan Singer would not be given so many opportunities (in the list above) by Hollywood, after the failure of "Superman Returns."
Bryan Singer also would not be offered the opportunity to direct "X-Men: Days of Future Past" after the failure of "Superman Returns", even if he did direct the first two "X-Men" movies. Bryan Singer would also not be given the opportunity to direct "X-Men: Days of Future Past" if every project in the above list (all 15 of them thus far) had been abandoned by him prior to the beginning of pre-production, if all of the projects had actually been in physical production.

In the last decade, these are Bryan Singer's actual accomplishements in the real world:

1. Directing the dud "Superman Returns"
2. A producer (one of many) on "House"
3. Directing the "Mockingbird Lane" pilot for NBC-TV.
4. Directing the dud "Valkyrie."
5. Directing "Magnum Gold "Ice Cream" commercials.
6. Producing or consulting on some http://www.youtube.com series called "H+."
7. Directing "X-Men 1, 2"

That's it. The Bryan Singer in the real world in which we all live has accomplished very little cinematically dating back to the 1990s, and is presently leaning heavily towards permanent, uneventful work in television. Sitcoms and television commercials. You don't have to be a career counselor to realize that Bryan Singer is headed (involuntarily) towards a permanent future doing various, miscellaneous projects for television in general, NBC-TV, SyFy Channel, and perhaps the Disney Channel.

It will be interesting to see what Bryan Singer's next press release will be 1 year from now when it will be revealed that he never directed "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

Maybe Bryan Singer Could Get a Job at a Car Wash to Help His Present Employment Situation?

It would definitely be a step up from working for NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel in an "As Needed" basis, wouldn't it?

And it would definitely be step up from directing such sitcom nonsense as "Mockingbird Lane" and ice cream commercials. What do you think?

It wouldn't take Albert Einstein to realize what has and is going on here. Bryan Singer is (in my astute opinion) finished as a Hollywood film director, and "Superman Returns" did it to him. Obviously, "Valkyrie" (his last theatrical film of five or six years ago) was allowed to be made before the aftershocks of "Superman Returns" began to close doors for Bryan Singer (as a theatrical director) all through Hollywood. Singer apparently keeps announcing all of these movies he never ends up making, to give the unconvincing impression that he is still in the "game" in Hollywood as a theatrical director?

The fact of the matter is, Bryan Singer's career (in my astute opinion) has been downgraded to television since the failure of "Superman Returns." He is spending more and more time at NBC-Universal directing boring television pilots for them ("The Munsters"), re-announcing the "Battlestar Galactica" movie every two years with Universal Studios as a sick joke, and conceivably is in a holding pattern career wise at NBC-Universal waiting to be placed whereever NBC-Universal needs him in their television division (NBC-TV, SyFy Channel.) If the SyFy Channel needed a last minute director to direct one of its low budget, weekly monster movies, Bryan Singer would probably jump at the chance, using a pseudonym as a screen credit of course. Because Bryan Singer is jumping at anything and everything in television right now in order to keep working. "Magnum Gold Ice Cream" commercials, the "Munsters" television pilot, etc. Let's also not forget that the only two projects Bryan Singer completed this year was the "Munsters" television pilot, and the long forgotten "H+" mini series on http://www.youtube.com. Is "H+" still posted over there?

What Hollywood film director with legitimate clout would immediately abandon the "Battlestar Galactica" movie he announced in October 2011, in order to direct the "Munsters" pilot for NBC-TV? That would be quite a downgrade in salary for a supposedly hot Hollywood film director, wouldn't it? Yet Bryan Singer did it because he really didn't have a "Battlestar Galactica" movie to direct as he claimed in October 2011, and he really isn't a Hollywood film director anymore.

Bryan Singer currently has 15 abandoned projects (in a row). Most likely these projects were never in the pipeline for production in the first place. And it can easily be concluded that "X-Men: Days of Future Past" will either not get made at all, or someone else will direct it. If only one or two of those projects out of the 15 total never got made, I would think nothing of it. But all 15?? In a row?? There is a pattern of some sort at work here, of career immobility for Bryan Singer. And now Bryan Singer is in the process of adding "X-Men: Days of Future Past" to the list.

What Bryan Singer's list of 15 abandoned projects tells me (in my astute opinion), is that he does not have the financial backing from anyone in Hollywood to let him direct another theatrical film. Thus, Bryan Singer has dropped down to directing miscellaneous, rather boring projects for television. Sitcom pilots, ice cream commercials, silly stuff for http://www.youtube.com.

I also find it very interesting that Bryan Singer is the only director in Hollywood to make so many press releases and announcements claiming what he is supposedly doing from one moment to the next. As if Bryan Singer always has some need to let the general public know what he is supposedly doing from one moment to the next. Joss Whedon doesn't feel the need to do this, James Cameron doesn't feel the need to do this, Shaun Levy doesn't feel the need to do this. Only Bryan Singer feels the need to do it. I wonder why!!
