Two things need to be pointed out here about the..."SyFy Channel"...
1. Even though it is suddenly expressing all of this supposed interest in the Science Fiction genre, this interest still isn't reflected in the programming on the..."SyFy Channel"....itself. The programming on the..."SyFy Channel"...still remains unflattering, embarrassing, and downright shameful towards the entire Science Fiction genre. Unworthy to even be labeled as..."Science Fiction Programming." The SyFy Channel still goes for programming that is weird, trashy, low budget, non-Science Fiction, mass market unattractive, and programming that always comes across as a..."Broadside of a Barn Stab"... (half ass) stab at attempting Science Fiction programming extremely poorly.
2. This blog has come to the realization that although the..."SyFy Channel"...may like to report on the daily activities within the entire Science Fiction genre (conventions, interviews with celebrities connected to Science Fiction, etc.)...it ironically (with its parent corporation) doesn't want to be an active participant within the Science Fiction genre...
a. Such as its dysfunctional parent corporation (Universal Studios) still unwilling to correctly revive the..."Battlestar Galactica"...franchise (the 1978 series)...in order to properly compete with..."Star Wars"...and..."Star Trek"...currently making killings at the box office and on television.
b. Universal Studios (for whatever reason) still owns some of the best potential Science Fiction franchises ever created (still having plenty of life in them) yet continues to never do anything constructive with them...even after 40+ frickin' years...

The main problem here always has been, is that Universal Studios / SyFy Channel has always been staffed with idiots who are not Science Fiction fans...
...and yet these same people (at the same time) have the umitigated gall to recently sign a deal being the exclusive streamer at..."Comic-Con"...conventions????
How this thoroughly retarded corporation wound up owning the once great..."Sci-Fi Channel"...of the 1990's...is anyone's guess.
Didn't they know what the hell they were getting themselves into (the responsibilities involved) LONG BEFORE they ever bought the former and once great (before they came along)..."Sci-Fi Channel????"...
This remains the most reckless and irresponsible purchase of a cable network in television history by people who never should have bought it.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...
And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
