What This Blog Is Seeing Again & Again Is a Staggering Lack of Imagination and Inspired Thinking In "Science Fiction / Fantasy Television Series" Supposedly Taking Place On Alien Planets

Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO" - (Galactica In Name Only)....series

Doesn't anyone hire imaginative production designers and art directors anymore? Become very skeptical when the producer(s) of any new Science Fiction / Fantasy television series supposedly taking place on an alien planet tell you that the reason why their alien world looks just like ours and that its inhabitants dress just like us is a good natured attempt on their part to get their alien world(s) to relate to us, the viewers.

Nonsense!! That's just..."Producer Code"...for..."We didn't have enough money in our budget to hire monumentally gifted Production Designers and Art Directors to design mind blowing alien worlds for you, the television viewers. And we just don't give a shit."

"Krypton"...supposedly takes place on Superman's home planet generations before he was born yet everyone is attired in the same old Earth bound fabric clothing of jump suits, capes, and cowboy style holsters and pistols.

Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)...series was such a god forsaken mess of..."We don't give a shit in the Wardrobe Department"...that everyone in this laughable series was attired in every article of clothing available in every retail clothing store in Vancouver, British Columbia. Yet this retarded series was supposed to be taking place in a solar system thousands of light years from Earth on 12 Worlds!!

A lot of this bullsh*t taking place in television productions nowadays is a combination of:

1. The... "I don't give a shit"...mentality from the current crop of television producers.
2. A lack of adequate funding and talent in the wardrobe design departments.
3. It's always easier to just go out and buy your wardrobe from Sears than design it yourself.

Television nowadays is regressing back to the low budget days of the..."Saturday Morning Serials"... of the 1930's thru the 1950's where there were no budgets back then either for imaginative wardrobes to adequately depict alien worlds or fantastic situations.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
