1. Yes, the scripts were bad.
2. Yes, the entire production was rushed.
3. Yes, it had a fraction of the budget the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica Series"...had...
But...on the plus side....
1. It still had Lorne Greene
2. It still had Herbert Jefferson Jr.
3. It still had Dirk Benedict
4. The original format was still intact, albeit skewed
5. It had cool flying motorcycles called..."Land Probes"...originally designed for the..."1978"...series.
6. The pilot episode, the final episode, and..."The Night The Cylons Landed"...were actually all pretty good. Cheese galore in..."The Night The Cylons Landed"...but still pretty good.
"Galactica: 1980"...is a masterpiece in comparison to Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO"....nonsense.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...
And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
