If The "SyFy Channel" Had Existed For Any Moment in Time Back in The Late 1970s, The Likes of "Starlog" And "Cinefantastique" Magazines Would Have Driven It Right Off The Air With Relentless Criticisms

"Cinefantastique"...and..."Starlog"....magazines were very high brow publications in the late 1970s. Snooty (in a good way) if you will.

They both would have taken one look at the..."SyFy Channel"...back then and ravaged upon it the most brutal criticisms they both could muster at that time. They both would have worked tirelessly to drive the..."SyFy Channel"....right off the air. It's moniker..."SyFy"...instead of..."Sci-Fi"...being their primary criticism.

The likes of David Gerrold, Howard Zimmerman, and guest article(s) writer Harlan Ellison would have totally trashed the likes of...

1. Sharknado
2. Ice Spiders
3. Frankenfish
4. Helix
5. William Shatner's Full Moon Fright Night
6. Z Nation
7. The SyFy Channel's 2009 self promo...

8. Blood Drive
9. Geeks Who Drink
10. Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)...series

Unfortunately, society within the United States is a lot less educated now than it was back in the late 1970s.

Thus, garbage like the..."SyFy Channel"....gets on the air ( a lot easier nowadays) under the poorly disguised guise of Science Fiction in the early 21st Century.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
