The "SyFy Channel" Moniker Listed as "One of 10 Rebranding Failures" That Cost Them Dearly

We're seeing the..."SyFy Channel"....pay dearly now as they have always paid dearly for the past 11 years with this idiotic name change. No matter how well intended the..."SyFy Channel"...may be nowadays with programming designed to lure back the..."Science Fiction Audience"....it lost (for good) a decade ago with this idiotic name change along with the other idiotic things the...."SyFy Channel"...did in the decade of the 2000s to drive away the..."Science Fiction Mass Market Audience"....for good (such as getting away from Science Fiction based programming??), the..."Science Fiction Mass Market Audience"...will never give the...."SyFy Channel"....the time of day ever again no matter what the...."SyFy Channel"...does.

Perhaps most importantly, the..."SyFy Channel"...experienced no...."business growth"....with this name change. Mass market consumers don't...."carry the SyFy brand with them"....anywhere they go. The..."SyFy Channel"...has been left behind by every...."Mass Market Consumer"....and every..."Mass Market Science Fiction Fan"....in the world for good.

No growth of any sort experienced by this channel since 1999 (21 years)...

1. No digital growth
2. No platform growth
3. No audience growth
4. No ratings growth
5. No nothing

The..."SyFy Channel"...has been inert for 11 years since this name change and inert prior to that for 10 years (since 1999) with Bonnie Hammer at the helm.

The..."Mass Market Science Fiction Audience"...has long since moved on to...

1. "Netflix"
2. "CBS Digital"
3. "Star Wars"
4. "Star Trek"
5. "Stranger Things"
6. "Lost in Space" reboot
7. "Comic - Con"
8. DVDs / Blu-Ray

"SyFy's"...parent corporation..."Comcast / NBC-Universal"....continuing to trash the..."Battlestar Galactica"....property repeatedly again and again (on purpose) for 42 consecutives years with crappy mismanagement overall and...."Fake Movie / TV Show" Press Releases"....for  19 consecutive years (since 2001) hasn't helped this corporation overall either.
