Using The "SyFy Channel" as The "Business Model" For Running "Peacock Streaming" Is Not The Smartest Thing "Comcast / NBC-Universal" Could Have Done

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/26/peacock-losses-to-peak-this-year-slowly-adds-subscribers.html

Because when you do, you only end up with 20 million subscribers after 3-4 years of being in operation versus the 150-200 million subscribers of your competitors....

1. Paramount+

2. Disney+

3. Netflix

4. Shudder

What has 'Peacock Streaming' been doing to emulate the 'SyFy Channel?'

1. Wrestling

2. Avoiding Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror programming 99% of the time.

3. Demonstrating an inexplicable love for everything parent corporation 'Comcast / NBC-Universal' owns having failed in the past....

The 'MacGruber' box office disaster from 2010 wasn't enough of an unpleasant experience for 'Comcast / NBC-Universal' to go through once. It just had to go through it again on its streaming service as well.

The 'Quantum Leap' reboot cancelled once, and then brought back.

'Surreal Estate' cancelled once, and then brought back.

Why? On both counts? They both were ratings flops in their original incarnations from decades past.

Another 'Box Office Dud' from 'Universal Studios' that parent 'Comcast / NBC-Universal' inexplicably turned into a 'SyFy Channel' series.

Covertly based on John Carpenter's failed 'Universal Studios' movie from 1982, 'The Thing.'

4.

Basing a 'SyFy Channel' series on a 'Low Budget Box Office Flop' from 1975.

5. And here's the biggie....

'Peacock Streaming' sharing the hatred its parent corporation 'Comcast / NBC-Universal' and corporate sibling 'SyFy Channel' has for the entire 'Battlestar Galactica' property....

Is it any wonder why 'Peacock Streaming' only has 20 million subscribers after being in business (if you want to call it that) for 3-4 years.

No business growth is going on with 'Peacock Streaming' after approaching half a decade (July 15th, 2020 - January 30th 2023.)

'Comcast / NBC-Universal' doesn't know how to run a 'Streaming Service.'

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff..

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
