Ignoring and Not Responding to Trends In The "Marketplace" For Decades Has Proven to Be Fatal For "Comcast / NBC-Universal" in Dollars and Cents

 

"Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror" have been huge moneymaking industries in "Hollywood" for decades. On movie screens, in syndicated television, and the "Streaming Industries."

Despite these facts, "Comcast / NBC-Universal" IGNORED the rise and longevity of the "Rick Berman Era of Star Trek" from 1987 to 2005....

Ignored all current incarnations of "Star Trek"....

Ignored the rise, unprecedented success, and sustained longevity of "Marvel Studios"....

Ignored Disney's run at continuing "Star Wars"....

Ignored the rise and unprecedented success of "Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror" in the "Streaming Industry"....

Despite all of this (for decades), and instead of responding in robust and healthy ways, "Comcast / NBC-Universal" (instead) remained comatose (for decades), ultimately allowing both "Peacock-Streaming" and "SyFy" to just erode and become "Rinky-Dink / Little Piss-Pot Failures" offering nothing more than " Middling Fare" having absolutely nothing to do with "Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror" on any noteworthy level or any level for that matter ...
