"So Say We All!!'

This Blog Always Notices That "High Profile Projects" Like This Are NEVER Offered (It Seems) to "Peacock" From "High Profile External Sources"

https://deadline.com/2025/06/land-of-the-lost-series-reboot-netflix-legendary-1236435368/

Projects like this are ALWAYS, not showing up on "Peacock "

As in....projects like this from "External Sources" are NEVER being...."Pitched"....to "Peacock. "

Instead, "Peacock" always is (it seems), forced to develop its own stuff...."In-House".....because for whatever reason, "Peacock" is not being approached (it seems) by...."External Entities"....for the development of projects like this.

We Didn't Know Who These People Were When Their Names Were First Mentioned in "Fake Battlestar Galactica Press Releases"

3. Frances Lawrence

4. Michael DeLuca

13. Billy Brown

14. Michael Lesslie

15. Derek Simonds

And after all of their collective "Fake Battlestar Press Releases" were proven to be...."Fake"....spanning decades, we still didn't know who the hell these people were.

"Hollywood' also has NEVER had...."Help Wanted" signs posted for these people, warmly welcoming them into...."Post-Fake Battlestar Press Release Employment...."

Let's Have a "Show of Hands." How Many Believe That "Comcast / NBC-Universal Executives" Need to Return to School For "Lengthy Classroom Instruction?"

....In order to learn how to own, manage, and operate "Peacock Streaming"....

....and learn how to own, manage, and operate the "Battlestar Galactica" property....

How is it Possible That a "Streaming Service (Peacock)" Went Into Operation Being as "Naive" as it Was About The Very "Business" it Was Supposed to be in?

Just read the previous post about some of the things it did wrong.

You would think that "Comcast" would have had a team of knowledgeable people on staff to know enough in all areas of thought about "Streaming" to offer competent directions to take "Peacock" in. Enough "Know How" to at least say (every step of the way)....

"No....don't do that, do this instead."

Or

"The other 'Streaming Services' aren't doing that, so why are we doing that? Why are we always going against the "Basics" of "Common Sense" in "Business?" Why are we always "Going Against The Grain?"

The people who run "Peacock" don't know what they are doing, and have never known what they are doing.

"So Say We All!!"

It Never Occurred to "Comcast / NBC-Universal" For Decades, That Instead of Mistreating The "Battlestar Galactica" Property, It Should Have Been Utilizing It as a Tool For Saving Its Own "Corporate Ass", Again and Again

"Battlestar (1978)" could have been used to....

1. Give an "Identity Marker" to "Peacock."

2. Attract new subscribers by the millions to "Peacock."

3. Compete with the new and various "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" theatrical films.

4. Compete with the "Rick Berman Era of "Star Trek" in syndication from 1987 to 2003.

5. Compete with "Babylon 5" for five years.

6. Give birth to various "Spin-Off" series.

7. Become a merchandising bonanza in toys and books.

Instead, "Comcast / NBC-Universal" and all of its previous corporate names dating back to 1978, has been "Farting Around" (up it's "Corporate Keyster"), for decades issuing one "Fake Battlestar Movie / TV Show Press Release" after another, none of them coming to fruition.

It's either intentional "Self-Sabotage" or 'Unintentional Corporate Naivete" that never heals. Spanning Decades.

The 'Crystal Clear Signs" That "Comcast / NBC-Universal" Never Knew How to Run a "Streaming Service"

1. Not getting a "Battlestar" project off the ground after five years even though "Comcast" owns the property.

2. "Peacock" still not having any sort of a discernible identity after five years. Something to instantly identify them to subscribers...."Battlestar"...."Star Wars"...."Indiana Jones"...."Mickey Mouse"....something, anything.

3. "Comcast's" revulsion towards the very trends in "Streaming"...."Science Fiction, Fantasy"....for the past five years.

4. Only having 30 million subscribers after five years.

5. Ongoing "technical glitches" in various live sporting events after five years.

6. Still offering "free sign-ups" and "discount coupons" after five years because you still can't get above 30 million subscribers (after five years.)

7. The "Big Names" still not doing projects for you after five years....Tim Burton, Steven Spielberg (Ironic, right? With Spielberg's latest 'Jurassic World' project coming up for Universal.)

8. Low budgeted across the board of all operations. The "Hallmark" of "Peacock."

Elaborating on "Point 1" in The Previous Post, "Universal Studios" Turned Down "Star Wars" in 1975, When George Lucas Was Shopping His Idea Around

George Lucas's next stop after being turned down by "Universal Studios" in 1975, was "20th Century Fox Film Division President", Alan Ladd Jr....who approved and "Green-Lit" Lucas's idea for "Star Wars."

If "Comcast / NBC-Universal" Had Owned Any of These Properties From The Beginning, They All Would Have Been Inactive For Decades (Going Back to The 1960s)

2. Star Trek

3. Indiana jones

4. Stranger Things

5. Nightmare on Elm Street

6. Friday The 13th

In between the cracks and crevices of reality.
