Does Bryan Singer think that the public doesn't read and / or scrutinize the material he releases claiming it's his? Does Bryan Singer want to try again in releasing supposed pre-production or finalized material of a movie he may or may not be directing, and a movie he may or may not ultimately drop out of? Releasing other people's material from previous movies in press releases and then claiming it's yours isn't cool.
Additionally, this "X-Men: Days of Future Past" movie is proceeding unusually swiftly in pre-production as Bryan Singer has been claiming. It's been what? A couple weeks since Bryan Singer first claimed he was the director of this thing, and he already has a finished script sitting on his lap, a finalized image (above) Singer claims is his that was fast tracked through the pre-production process of design, and Singer claims he is scouting locations already.
No movie is made this quickly in Hollywood. It's logistically impossible. At the other end of the spectrum, it shouldn't have taken Bryan Singer 12 years to make zero progress with a "Battlestar Galactica" movie, or have taken him almost a decade to make "Jack The Giant Slayer" if the silly movie is released at all.
I know enough about the movie making process to realize that the realities of movie making, and what Bryan Singer is claiming via his endless press releases with "X-Men: Days of Future Past" just aren't meshing together. Things never proceed this quickly in the movie making process. Not only that, but what Bryan Singer is endlessly claiming (through his usually expected and notorious press releases) with this movie are events proceeding out of sequence (in the normal movie making process) to say the least.
1. He has a finished script before a first or second draft was ever done? And he has a finished script a mere two weeks after he first announced (claimed) he was the director of this thing? Reality check: It takes a good 7 months to have a finished script if you're lucky. The standard time frame in Hollywood.
2. He has announced returning cast members before they ever consented to return and sign contracts.
3. Bryan Singer apparently has the fastest pre-production art department in Hollywood history, fast tracking the above logo through the pre-production process and into final manufacturing a mere couple weeks after Bryan Singer first claimed he was the director of this thing. If this is the case, then in typical assembly line fashion of a pre-production art department, Bryan Singer should also have tons of other props for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" designed, approved, and manufactured for the movie. All of these other props ready for Singer to share on "Twitter." Of course, the above logo is from another movie so there is no need to contemplate this any further.
I find it odd that no "Above The Line" personnel for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" have come forward and at the very least remarked..."Hey, I'm the Associate Producer on this movie and I'm working with Bryan Singer on this thing." Singer certainly can't make this movie by himself, right? Thus far, Singer has no one to vouch for him that he is really the director of this thing, or actually involved with "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in any way. I learned a long time ago that if Bryan Singer claims to be directing anything via press releases, you need reputable people in Hollywood to confirm it.
I also find it odd that these supposedly truthful press releases from Bryan Singer are coming from him and only him, not one press release from 20th Century Fox itself at the very least confirming Bryan Singer as the director of this thing, and the destinations of these supposedly truthful press releases are the usually questionable news outlets, such as http://www.syfy.com .

...it's my guess that the primary source of these fake press releases on Bryan Singer's behalf are individuals and / or an organization near and dear to Bryan Singer, who for whatever reason are determined to convey the ongoing illusion that Bryan Singer is still a powerhouse Hollywood director after the failure of "Superman Returns." Thinking nothing of the reputation consequences for Bryan Singer when the inevitable pasage of time elapses, revealing that Bryan Singer has not directed any of the movies (or television productions) previously announced. These individuals (or organization) spoon feed this repeated false information to Internet news organizations such as http://www.hollywoodreporter.com , knowing full well that these Internet news organizations are not legitimate investigative news units, allowing them to take full advantage of the "Wild West" environment of the Internet, where anything they claim will be dutifully spread like a virus all over the Internet. If anyone is crying out for investigative reports of their repeated, fake Internet press releases, it is Bryan Singer and Universal Studios.
It's a sad commentary on Bryan Singer, Universal Studios, and this third mysterious source of fake press releases that the three of them cannot get through a single work day without lying.
What do we know about Bryan Singer so far? The undeniable facts...
1. That he spends more time on the Internet spreading rumors about himself than he does actually creating movies for public consumption. These rumors always involve him being assigned as the director of some stupendous, tent-pole movie that every Comic-Con customer would love. Of course, none of these rumors thus far (spread by Bryan Singer and his Internet publicity machine) have ever come to fruition. This makes Bryan Singer a "Serial Liar"....

We rarely hear a word (over the Internet) from legitimate movie directors Jon Favreau, Joss Whedon, Joe Johnston, Peter Jackson, and James Cameron; yet they ironically produce 100% more product (individually) for public consumption than Bryan Singer does.
3.Once again, the supposed details of Bryan Singer supposedly being involved with a project just aren't panning out to logical scrutiny:
a. Bryan Singer hasn't been able to come up with a shootable "Battlestar Galactica" script in 12 years, yet he somehow has managed to have a complete, shootable "X-Men" script on his lap a mere week after he announces on his own behalf, that he has been assigned as the director of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" by 20th Century Fox. By any stretch of the imagination, a script is not written that quickly in Hollwood. Not only that, but the title of the movie..."X-Men: Days of Future Past" is missing from this clearly visible cover page of the script, as is Bryan Singer's name as the director, and the author(s) of the script. Standard "Screen Writers Guild" regulations for legitimate scripts. What script is this really? And to what amateur high school play does it really belong to?
b. Bryan Singer has been prematurely announcing (on "Twitter") the "X-Men" actors as being involved in this project when in fact they aren't locked in contractually. Not Patrick Stewart, not Ian McKellan, not Hugh Jackman.
Bryan Singer seems to have developed a "green with envy" admiration of Joss Whedon's "Avengers" movie, and perhaps wishes that he had directed it. In his own dreams perhaps, he wants to compete with "The Avengers" with a new "X-Men" movie, with or without the permission of 20th Century Fox formally assigning him as the director.
There seems to be this "odd, good will huddling around Bryan Singer" that seems to be going on by the former "X-Men" cast members who although are not locked in contractually as Bryan Singerprematurely announced on "Twitter" (much to their varying degrees of irritation), they still want to rally around him in good faith even if the movie is never made. Partially due to the fact that the "X-Men" cast members feel sorry for Bryan Singer and his previous and chronic career failures?
Bryan Singer seems to want to atone for the massive list of movies and television productions he never made thus far (listed above), by cranking out yet another "X-Men" movie, thinking that that will make things "all better."
It's never good when Bryan Singer is captured on videotape making one of his lies. This lie on Auguast 3rd, 2012. Sort of like "Bigfoot" or the "Loch Ness Monster" being captured on videotape for the first time.

Whatever has been going on with Bryan Singer and his career for quite some time is not certain. What is certain however, is that Bryan Singer and his career has not been on the level for quite some time and has been an endless series of lies for quite some time.
The Internet is currently "ablaze" with all sorts of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and Bryan Singer rumors. I can't help but ask, what will Bryan Singer's next project be...really..?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. It is my belief that "Superman Returns" killed Bryan Singer's career as a big budget, tent pole film director.
He has a future career in television as a commercial director / sitcom director / low budget horror movie director for the SyFy Channel under endless pseudonyms.
It would seem (from what I can gather), that if anything legitimately comes together for Bryan Singer to direct "X-Men: Days of Future Past", it would be a gesture of "sympathetic charity" from 20th Century Fox and the "X-Men" cast members.
20th Century Fox / X-Men Cast Members:
"Let's give the little guy one more chance to make a financially successful, multi-million dollar movie."
This sort of charity of course, non-existent in the "business / dollars" environment of Hollywood. But the only way Singer would ever be allowed to direct a multi-million dollar movie (of the scope of "Superman Returns") ever again.
This has been the "rule" and not the "exception" at Universal Studios for quite some time, hasn't it?
Call me "silly", but I suspect that the "Battlestar Galactica" copyright has been incidentally intertwined in all of this nonsense since dinosaurs first walked the Earth, and the manner in which Universal Studios has been mismanaging "Battlestar Galactica" (on purpose) all of this time has been one of many symptoms of this nonsense.
