Forget About a "Battlestar Galactica" Movie. Universal Studios Couldn't Even Handle Putting Out Quality "Battlestar Galactica" Merchandise During The Past 40 Years

A.."Battlestar Galactica"...movie obviously being infinitely larger in scale than any piece of crap merchandise Universal Studios has put out during the past 40 years. The point being, Universal Studios couldn't handle the quality involved in a much larger endeavor if they simultaneously couldn't deliver the quality on a much smaller scale with its crappy ass..."Battlestar Galactica"...merchandise.

1. This hunk of junk has intentionally unattractive box art to keep sales down in order to discourage old fans and potentially new fans from purchasing it. Has there ever been a more blatant attempt to discourage consumers en masse from even walking up to the cashier due to the box art being so deliberately repulsive on an item?

2. Universal Studios then simultaneously engages in its old..."Reverse Psychology Routine"...on consumers by filling http://www.amazon.com with stealth marketed reviews of this item with not one curious mention from any of these reviewers as to how unattractive the box art is. Stealth marketers working for Universal Studios posing as legitimate consumers and purchasers of this item...INDEED!!

3. This...Blu-Ray...set also has a severely damaged aspect ratio in all of its widescreen versions of the episodes which is nothing new to Universal Studios as this studio never could get a handle on DVD and Blu-Ray technology with all of its classic television series releases. Most notoriously..."Adam-12"...and...."Night Gallery."

4. This Blu-Ray set also merely carried over the extras from the..."Battlestar Galactica - Complete Epic Series"...DVD set from October 2003. Over a decade ago. Not taking into account (of course) the recent passings of Glen A. Larson and Richard Hatch. Of course not!! That would have required the production of new extras in order to properly pay tribute to these two men and what they accomplished in their lives. Universal Studios would never approve of that!!

This book has the infamous and irresponsible trademarks of Universal Studios all over it when it comes to..."Battlestar Galactica"...

1. An unfair overemphasis on Ronald D. Moore's..."GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only)....series.

2. Pocket sleeve contents that are trinkets of junk.

3. Behind the scenes photo stills of..."Saga of a Star World"...(The pilot episode of the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica")...series that are so tiny you would have to take them to a professional photographer to get them enlarged as much as possible.

4. Questionable binding

5. An unfair under emphasis on the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica"....series.

6. Nothing new in terms of behind the scenes information as what is printed here was swiped from online sources and 40 year old publications and interviews.

7. The book being too small in size as a supposed coffee table sized book.

8. Overall page number too small to cover all of the required information.

9. The hunk of junk new..."Battlestar"...design having priority over the much superior original..."Battlestar"... design from the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica"...series in the fold out cover of this book.

10. At least 50% of the photos from the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica"...series being too small.

When the first batch of units of the..."Battlestar Galactica - Complete Epic Series"...DVD set were released to consumers in October 2003, these consumers encountered a DVD set so filled with manufacturing defects, these defects could only have been by design and were not accidental...

1. Cracked discs were the first thing consumers saw sitting in the DVD trays in October 2003 when they unwrapped the packaging for the very first time. Cracked all the way through.

2. It only got bleaker as they tried to put the discs into their DVD players. Freezing discs, and heavy grain evident primarily in the pilot episode..."Saga of a Star World"...indicated that NO digital remastering was done of these episodes as was claimed on the external packaging.

3. The photo gallery could have been 100% better.

4. Not all of the deleted scenes from..."Saga of a Star World"...were there. A good 25 extra minutes of this pilot episode are still missing and unaccounted for after 40 consecutive years of Universal Studios..."Mismanagement B.S."...of this property.

JUNK...like the ones listed in the three examples above is always..."Par For the Course"...for Universal Studios every time they release a new piece of merchandise from the..."1978 Battlestar Galactica"...series.

So, setting Universal Studios loose on a new..."Battlestar Galactica"...movie without any external quality control oversight would be DISASTROUS for moviegoers.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
