Words With Ambiguous Spellings Continue to Undo The "SyFy Channel"

The..."SyFy Channel"...did itself no favors by screwing up the spelling of the word..."Sci-Fi"...in the title of its channel because it forever obliterated even a name connection to the term..."Science Fiction"...as well as its abbreviation..."Sci-Fi"...

Now, the..."SyFy Channel"..has an upcoming series called..."Krypton"...which is supposed to refer to..."Superman's"...home planet.

However, a great many people in the mass market audience aren't going to know that. Instead, this is the definition they are going to think of when they hear the word..."Krypton"...

Krypton:  "A colorless relatively inert gaseous element found in air in trace amounts and used especially in electric lamps."

So, there is an upcoming television series called..."Krypton"...on a cable network with an ambiguous spelling in its title..."SyFy"...

"Krypton"...on..."SyFy"....

If that doesn't leave the vast majority of a potential mass market audience in the dark as to what..."Krypton"...on..."SyFy"....would even mean, I don't know what would.

If the title of this series had been something like...

1. "The Superman Chronicles: Krypton"
2. "Superman's Home World: Krypton"
3. "Superman Family: Krypton"
4. "Superman's Dad's Joint: Krypton"
5. "Supe's Home Planet: Krypton"

Something a mass market audience could collectively nail down as to what this series is about, it would have been well ahead of the game.

The..."SyFy Channel"...continues to have that ever special rare gift of alienating the vast majority of a potential mass market audience right off the bat with indecipherable titles to everything they come up with. Whether it be its own cable network or its programming.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
