Does this or does this not sound like the central plot to one of these old time soaps?

"It's a strange culture, to be sure, made more interesting by an abundance of name-dropping. Seg-El, for example, is involved with Lyta (Georgina Campbell), who comes from the House of Zod, a warrior family that serves the regime in power. Alas, Seg-El is promised to someone else."

1. The House of "Zod"
2. The House of "Ewing"
3. The House of "Carrington"
4. Marriage not used as an expression of love, but as bargaining chips
5. Regime of Power / Regime of Oil / Regime of Real Estate
6. A strange culture among all elitists / the privileged
7. The House of "Zod" vs. The House of "Jor-El"

Who wrote this..."Krypton"...crap? What's his name again?

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
