April 8th, 2014 - Universal Studios still hasn't pulled a "Battlestar" movie out of its dysfunctional rump at this late date and never will. Although the "Fake Press Releases" such as this one (since 2001) will continue to be generated by Universal Studios.... "Biennially"..... for lord knows how much longer.
October 21st, 2011 -Even two years previously we really knew this press release was "Fake" as well.
August 3rd, 2012 -The less said about this guy, the better. Bryan Singer's unconvincing follow-up to the October 21st, 2011 "Fake Battlestar Press Release" was additionally marred by his habitual stuttering response to the "Battlestar" question he was caught off guard with.

How bad (rotten to the core) has the "SyFy Channel" been since the "NBC-Universal - Universal Studios" group came in and purchased this channel (the former and once great "Sci-Fi Channel") against the better judgment of everyone who knew all along that Universal Studios should never come within arms distance reach of anything "Science Fiction" and "Battlestar Galactica" related because Universal sucks so bad at managing both?
This cable network has never been run by anyone at NBC-Universal who has had any sort of fondness for "Science Fiction" and "Battlestar Galactica" related....in no small part due to the fact that no one at this corporation has the slightest talent for managing the former and the latter.
The inevitable outcome of this entire mess has been...that NBC-Universal ultimately settled into its permanent dysfunctional rut of managing the "SyFy Channel"....."half-ass" and "slipshod"....hoping to attract the undesirable demographic of...."Alcoholic College Kids".....from "Twitter" who would all be so...."F**ked Up"....from booze and drugs....that they would never realize how rotten the "SyFy Channel" programming is....on a Saturday night for example.
So, the "SyFy Channel" isn't an...."Appointment Destination"....for serious, cerebral viewing for these college kids but rather....."Backround Noise".....for these kids when the frat parties are going on with the booze and drugs flying back and forth. Speculation of course. (Evil Grin)
Because NBC-Universal never took this channel seriously, neither does its miniscule viewership of drunk college kids who revel in the...."Background Noise Orgy"....of...."Sharknado."

Like the "SyFy Channel"...."Asylum Films".... has never mastered the craft of the business they are supposed to be in. Their CGI rendered monsters like the one above always have a..."Play Doh"....look to them, and never look like they are a part of the environment they are supposed to be in.
Yes...."Gumby".....and....."Pokey".....accurately represent what all of the CGI rendered monsters from..."Asylum Films".....always look like. Even after 17 years.

This sort of project would have been right up the "SyFy Channel's" alley....because it's tasteless trash.
It's a project just....."Oooozing".....with Bonnie Hammer's....."Brand Filters!!".....
This would be a project worthy of further exploration by the "SyFy Channel" and "Asylum Films" because their collective tastes in television programming have always been so low.

Never before in the entire history of broadcasting (cable network or otherwise) has a television network so embraced its overall dysfunctionality with such undisguised relish as the "SyFy Channel" has....from... (1) Not being the cable network it is supposed to be [Science Fiction]....to....(2) Never trying to course correct this sad fact....to....(3)....Not being talented in the slightest in managing, producing, writing, and directing television programming overall....to....(4) Having a ceaseless and endlessly revolving on-air schizophrenic identity of....Wrestling....badly produced horror movies....cooking shows.....reality shows of every subject matter imaginable....and involuntarily aborted attempts at Science Fiction....to....(5) Never and not having the talented people in management necessary to run this cable channel generally speaking and in the format it is supposed to be managed [Science Fiction].
Much the same way paraplegics have to eventually embrace their situations, right?

Has this line of "SyFy Channel Wardrobe Clothing" on screen and behind the scenes been named by anyone yet?
I'll call it....."Grungy Casual"......
It wouldn't make it in the real business world of...."Wall Street"....and....."commuter Manhattan"...but it seems to serve the "SyFy Channel" just fine...(rolling my eyes.)
