There Was One Brief Time In The Early 1990's When Universal Studios Tried to Indirectly Compete With "Rick Berman Era Star Trek"

That was of course, with..."Seaquest DSV"...

Not a bad show by any means. Starring the late Roy Scheider and the fantastic musical score by the incredibly gifted John Debney.

But the very existence of this show points out an incredible flaw that has always been present in Universal Studios corporate management...

They always have to do the exact opposite of what everyone else is doing even when it leads them to financial ruin.

In the early 1990's, outer space fantasy shows were all the rage. So, what does Universal Studios do? They make a show set underwater. The exact opposite.

During the past 40 years off and on, people have been making money hand over fist with other outer space based fantasy shows and films in cinemas and on television. Primarily with...Star Trek"...and..."Star Wars"...

So, what does Universal Studios do in response?

NOTHING

This movie studio / corporation should have been bulldozed over decades ago and a shopping mall built in its place.

Universal Studios just never has been a psychologically normal movie studio / corporation. Primarily due to the fact that it has NEVER responded to the laws of supply and demand in our economy. With healthy competition.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
