1986 - "Battlestar Galactica" Episode VHS Tapes

2. Technology not mastered by Universal Studios at the time...

a. VHS tapes

Can you believe it? How simple could that have been for any corporation the size of Universal Studios?

1. Cracked discs sitting in the DVD trays the moment consumers opened the new packaging.

2. Freezing discs primarily in disc one, housing the..."Saga of a Star World"...pilot episode.

3. "Saga of a Star World"...primarily freezing at the mid-point where the young boy is abducted by..."Ovion"...creatures and taken underground.

4. No remastering done of the episodes as was claimed in the packaging. Primarily not done in..."Saga of a Star World"...Obvious print damage, grain, specks, images not sharpened.

May 12, 2015 - "Battlestar Galactica Definitive Collection"

Universal Studios Infractions -

1. Deliberately unattractive box art

2. The widescreen processing of the episodes failed every step of the way. Blurry imaging and missing visual information at the top and the bottom of the screen.

3. Minutes of missing footage from the individual episode..."Magnificent Warriors"

4. No new extras produced for this Blu-Ray set. Except for a self-congratulatory pat on its own back by Universal Studios incorrectly stating that they mastered the widescreen process.

5. Technologies not mastered by Universal Studios at the time...

a. Blu-Ray technology
b. Widescreening process
c. Digital clean-up
d. Remastering
e. The design and manufacturing of attractive box art
f. Overall quality control in the manufacturing process

This blog anxiously awaits the next state of the art technology Universal Studios will inevitably fail to master as well.

Read about the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com, as well as other stuff...
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/languatron/the-restored-favorable-reviews-deleted-by-universa-f60/
And read the books at another location where Universal Studios and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
