Thank God for..."Alternate Realities"...always present in the..."Star Trek"...universe to always easily undo Ronald D. Moore's terrible scriptwriting. "Alternate Realities"...where Capt. Kirk will always ultimately escape the bullet from a bad Ronald D. Moore script.
