Grunge Girl
1. Mysterious girl falls to earth after her spaceship gets caught up in the trail of a comet.
2. She has tracks on her arms because she is a heroin addict.
3. A trail of blood thirsty zombies falls to earth at the same time she does from the same trail of that comet.
4. Edward James Olmos is the...."Frowning Faced Assassin".....out to get her who mysteriously knows who she is even before she does. The zombies are his minions.
5. She has super strength, she flies....and she's a prostitute.
6. The great metropolitan newspaper..."The Daily Rag"....wants Grunge Girl to be their mascot.
7. Grunge Girl has an evil twin (if that is even possible) since Grunge Girl is bi-polar herself.
8. Grunge Girl robs banks (flattens them) since she can't get decent employment herself.
9. Grunge Girl has been designated a..."Person of Interest"...by the...."Bureau of Extraterrestrial Affairs"....for the raping of innocent boys.
10. Grunge Girl lives in an abandoned factory (no bed) with the zombies constantly closing in on her.

From experience via observation...I know darn well that the..."Starz Network - Ash vs. Evil Dead"....series is very much something on the SyFy Channel's corporate radar right now. They are watching this series with drool pouring out of their mouths. It's a series that the SyFy Channel just won't be able to resist ripping off for very long...
1. The lantern jawed hero
2. A chainsaw as his primary weapon
3. The main hero is a smart ass with one liners
4. The 50 year old hero working in a Wal-Mart style retail store
5. Graphic makeup effects
6. A remedially handicapped marketing gimmick for fighting the undead.
At the very least....I suspect a hero like Ash will eventually show up on multiple episodes of..."Z Nation"...driving a beat up Chevy and sporting a chain saw.
The SyFy Channel...never having a discernible identity of its own over the airwaves....just steals the ideas from other television networks that do have their own discernible on-air identities over the airwaves....like..."Starz"....and absorbs all of those stolen ideas into a...gloppy...gooey....incompatible.....smorgasbord-esque....mess!!....infamously known as...."The SyFy Channel's Daily and Nightly Schedule"....
....What the SyFy Channel lovingly and affectionately refers to as......"Brand Filtering".....

....NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel now has the confidence and unmitigated gall to ask an audience of its sad sack cable channel (an audience that never really existed in any definable "Business- Metric Definition" terms)....what...."SyFy Monster That Non-Existent Audience Would Like To Be"....
I'm telling you...in this life it always takes all kinds....and NBC-Universal / SyFy Channel has been no exception to the rule for the past 15 years....in its total MANGLING of anything having to do with this troubled channel of indefinable clap-trap it created.

That would be extraordinarily difficult, wouldn't it? For the..."Ghost Hunters"....cast and crew to go through their usual..."Heavily Scripted and Camera Blocked Schtick"...in such cramped quarters as a Navy ship?

1. Security cameras rigged in all of the corridors. Specially rigged to not show anything paranormal since nothing paranormal in reality actually exists....CHECK!!
2. Let's practice...."Panning The Cameras One More Time Left To Right Always Too Late"...in these cramped corridors so that the audience never sees what the...."Ghost Hunters Crew"....claims they have just seen of a paranormal nature...CHECK!!
3. Let's rehearse the script one more time....beginning at the point where the Captain of the...."U.S.S. Constitution"....is complaining to the..."Ghost Hunters"....crew about seeing ghostly watch standers with binoculars standing watch on the port, starboard, and aft sections of the ship late at night....even in dock!! (Cue up post-production visual effects and dubbing stage)....CHECK!!
4. Let's practice (one more time) the door to the bridge opening by itself with the rope on the floor attached to it (out of camera range of course) pulling it open!!...CHECK!!
Let's download all of the..."Ghost Hunters".....scripts going back the past decade just to see who has written them all since they never get screen credits....CHECK!!

Steven Spielberg can't be everywhere, right? He can't be providing box office hits to Universal Studios all of the time. Sooner or later Universal Studios will have to stand up on its own two feet in order to hit a home run at the box office all by its little lonesome.
