The Evenly Distributed "Culture of Corruption" Always In Cahoots With One Another Keeping "Battlestar Galactica 1978" a Long Dormant,Sleeping Giant

This studio couldn't even release a...."Battlestar Galactica 1978"....Blu-Ray set without screwing up (on purpose) the box art.

Universal Studios mishandling of this property (on purpose) going back 38 years is notorious and well documented on this blog.

On March 19th, 2008...it was revealed just how staggeringly unpopular Ronald D. Moore's...."GINO" - (Galactica In Name Only) series really was with the mass market viewing audience as it couldn't even pass muster from David Letterman's mass market audience. Long, awkward, embarrassing moments of silence, snickers....and a clearly audible...."Yeah!!"....from one guy who was clearly an off camera stage hand having to force rally an indifferent Letterman audience into applause all greeted Ronald D. Moore's massively unpopular creation.

Moore of course, stuck the..."Battlestar Galactica"... brand name on yet another one of his...."Star Trek"....sequel series bad ideas (with Universal Studios blessings of course) and it went nowhere with the mass market audience.

Bryan Singer circa 2016 doesn't even have the clout to get a high school stage play off the ground. As the list of his announced films (listed on this blog) repeatedly never getting made proves. It would seem his infrequent...."X-Men"...directing gigs have been nothing more than huge favors done to him by someone(s) within the 20th Century Fox studio system. (Speculation of course.) As...."unluck"....would have it, Bryan Singer eventually crossed paths with..."Battlestar Galactica 1978"...multiple times and did absolutely nothing with it all of those times going back 15 years.

I Guess The SyFy Channel Considers Sundays To Be "Off Programming Days" For Viewers

Where it (The SyFy Channel) rolls out its usual junk from the..."Universal Studios Film Vaults"...in that special section labeled...."For The SyFy Channel: It's Not Even Good Enough For Public Viewing"....

The SyFy Channel probably assumes that viewers en masse wouldn't be watching its channel on a Sunday afternoon and evening anyway. So they roll out the junk pictured above on Sunday. Not that they ever had an overall huge viewership anyway.

We all know what the public does on Sundays when they aren't watching the junk pictured above on the SyFy Channel, right?

1. Sitting on the can with a stack of Playboys spanking hank.
2. Waxing their surf boards.
3. Rebuilding their transmissions.
4. Wives throwing their husbands out of the house.
5. Taking the local church faculty to the local ice cream parlor after church.

One of The Tragedies of Universal Studios Mismanaging "Saga of a Star World" On Purpose For 38 Consecutive Years, Is That Viewers Missed Out On Vital Story Footage Involving John Colicos As "Baltar"

Without a doubt...the late John Colicos as.... "Baltar"....provided..."Battlestar Galactica"....with the most incredible villain any series could hope for.

In the scene above...."Baltar".....is no doubt surveying the surface of...."Caprica"....after the...."Cylon"... attack. This scene no doubt occurring right before or right after..."Baltar"...is informed by..."Cylon Centurions"....that..."Prisoners have been taken near the.... "Spacedrome"....

Another great scene Universal Studios no doubt tossed in the trash heap (original negative and all) decades ago.

Once again this blog committed to its endless quest of uncovering all of the missing footage from..."Saga of a Star World"...Universal Studios has either intentionally destroyed over the years, or allowed to vanish inadvertently on purpose. (Universal was always looking the other way on purpose every time chunks of never before seen footage from..."Saga of a Star World"....were being tossed into the rear dumpsters on the Universal lot, no doubt)  due to its legendary notorious mismanagement of this property.

"Baltar"....beheaded on camera. Imagine that!! Universal Studios and ABC-TV in cahoots with one another really trashed this pilot episode even before it originally aired on September 17th, 1978...Imagine that!!
