Arguing With George Lucas Opened Up Lots of Career Opportunities In The Industry For Ronald D. Moore, Didn't It? (Rolling My Eyes)

http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/03/13/ron-moore-discusses-working-on-the-live-action-star-wars-series

I don't know what the intent is (was) for Ron Moore to be bragging about arguing with George Lucas. Moore has never been a heavy hitter in the overall Hollywood industry to begin with. From day one he has been nothing more than a lightweight television producer / writer in syndicated fare...heavy on the endless and propped up...."Stealth Marketing"....and extremely light and sparse (non-existent actually) on actual talent. Whether or not he ever actually made it to the..."Skywalker Ranch"...to see George Lucas face to face is highly questionable to begin with, given his dubious supposed accomplishments overall in television.

Is it Moore's intent to give the false impression that he was / is a heavy hitter in the same league as George Lucas worthy of even arguing with him? That of course is false. Moore never had the talent in any discipline to even be invited to the..."Skywalker Ranch"....for any reason, to even be granted one minute by the secretary of George Lucas to try and sell him (Lucas) a box of.... "Girl Scout Cookies".....

Whatever Ron Moore thinks he is in relation to George Lucas, here are the sad facts about Ron Moore....

1. Over a decade after the.... "Rick Berman Era"....of..."Star Trek"....ended, (Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise)...where Moore was nothing more than an overall staff writer and occasional producer for..."Star Trek"... in syndicated television.... Moore is still a relative unknown to the masses, where it really means something. Ron Moore was nothing more than a little cog in a giant machine while associated with..."Star Trek"...He is still of that little stature circa 2015.

2. Post..."Star Trek"....Ron Moore has created nothing of any commercial success of his own invention.

3. Circa 2015, Ron Moore doesn't have a production empire of any sort to even compete with George Lucas after being in the business for as long as he has as one of the..."Hired Hand Little Guys"...going as far back as 1988.

4. Everything he has ever been associated with post..."Star Trek"...was cancelled in its pilot episode..."Precinct 17"...."Virtuality"....Notorious and low rated for not being what it claimed to be..."GINO" - (Galactica In Name Only)...."GINO"...being nothing more than rehashed...."Blade Runner"...and..."Star Trek: Voyager"...and..."GINO's"...low rated seasons being..."Rubber Stamped Renewals"...And flat out boring..."G vs. E"..."Roswell"...and..."Carnivale"...With no talent whatsoever demonstrated in any of these productions indicating a flare for..."Mass Market Pulse Finding"...as George Lucas repeatedly has a talent for.

Ron Moore should explore the highly rewarding field of..."Soap Opera Staff Writer"....I honestly believe that is the only career option he has left. He's already immersed in it with...."Outlander"....It's either that or opening his own lemonade stand.

As for arguing with George Lucas, it just opened up infinite career paths for Ron Moore didn't it? The billions of dollars are just rolling in for Ron Moore (after that argument)...aren't they? (Rolling my eyes)....after his extraordinary career of..."Staff Writer Dude"....for 2 decades .(Rolling my eyes again)

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read these books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the Amazon book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books. Who Have Been The "Einsteins" Working In The "SyFy Channel Programming Department" Believing That Science Fiction Box Office Flops From Years Past Would Make Profitable SyFy Channel Series?

https://breathingdead.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/thething.png

"John Carpenter's The Thing"...movie from 1982 of course, spawned the SyFy Channel's..."Helix"...series, at least in its first (low rated) season. You know, right? Isolated scientists at an arctic research research station infected with some sort of otherworldly or man made (Science Fiction-y) virus that is gooey and slimy all over the human body. This is John Carpenter territory!!

Wrap your logical, business oriented, and dollars & cents minds around this scenario...

SyFy Channel Programmer #1: "Hey, I have an idea!! Remember the '12 Monkeys' movie from 1995 with Bruce Willis?

SyFy Channel Programmer #2: "The one that totally flopped at the box office?"

SyFy Channel Programmer #1: "Let's make a tv series out of it!!"

SyFy Channel Programmer #2: "I like it!! Just because it failed at the box office doesn't mean it will fail on the SyFy Channel as a tv series!!"

In Instance After Instance For The Past 15 Years, The SyFy Channel's Corporate Attempts at Science Fiction Have Been Met With Low Ratings and Rubber Stamped Season Renewals

...While at the same time, the SyFy Channel programmers for the past 15 years have never been Science Fiction fans....

THERE HAS TO BE A CONNECTION SOMEWHERE!

I Do Believe We Have a One Year Anniversary Just Around The Corner!! An Anniversary of Lies!!

April 8th, 2014 - Yes, it was one year ago tomorrow when Universal Studios shoveled the horse manure once again with one of its ever reliable bi-ennial...."Fake Battlestar Galactica Movie Press Releases"....

Jack Paglen of course, was never heard from ever again regarding this supposed project, and seems to have vanished off of the face of the Earth entirely.

August 3rd, 2012 - Before last year's fake press release, Bryan Singer too did his own personal shoveling of the B.S. when it came to...."Fake Battlestar Galactica Movie Press Releases"....

The stuttering of course, is the classic...."Caught Off Guard Symptom"...of being curve balled a surprise question you have no truthful answer for.

Here he tries to unconvincingly give fake follow up information to the fake Battlestar movie announced on October 21st, 2011.

October 21st, 2011 - Does Universal Studios have a staff of..."Fake Battlestar Galactica Movie Press Release"....creators whose sole job it is to create these fake press releases every two years?

John Orloff where are you?

Never Will Imagination and Inspired Thinking Collide With The SyFy Channel

Sharknado 3 poster

Remember when the SyFy Channel held a contest for all 50 viewers of the first..."Sharknado"....movie? These 50 viewers were supposed to write in and offer suggestions for the title of the second...."Sharknado"....movie. After receiving title suggestions from these viewers, the best title that the SyFy Channel could come up with was..."Sharknado 2: The Second One."  I suspect what happened here was...the SyFy Channel received title suggestions from viewers that were very good (certainly a lot better than..."The Second One")....but the corporate boneheads at the SyFy Channel were so overwhelmed by the imagination and inspired thinking that went into those title suggestions...that the SyFy Channel boneheads finally just said..."Screw it. Let's just come up with our own status quo, boring, and typically anti-imaginative movie title."

So, here we are at the latest and highly anticipated third..."Sharknado"....movie (I'm anticipating low ratings highly, just as the first two got)...and we have yet another status quo, boring, and typically anti-imaginative move title in...."Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!"....A typical SyFy Channel movie title. Boring, status quo, it doesn't even rhyme. And I suspect given the extremely limited intellect of SyFy Channel executives, it took them all day sitting at a board room table hammering out movie titles to come up with...."Oh Hell No!"

Can I help? Would these alternative titles do?

1. Sharknado 3: Tracheotomy By Air
2. Sharknado 3: Umbrellas Won't Protect You
3. Sharknado 3: Decapitated Boneheads
4. Sharknado 3: Put Them On a Leash
5. Sharknado 3: The Air Surgeons are In
6. Sharknado 3: Bite Them Back
7. Sharknado 3: Remove Their Teeth With a Chainsaw
8. Sharknado 3: The Republicans Are Doomed
9. Sharknado 3: U.S. Supreme Court Sunday Picnic Massacre
10. Sharknado 3: What Happened To The Tea Party?

Does the SyFy Channel even use a..."bumper"...for its...."Sharknado".....movies?

...."Sharknado 3: Tracheotomy By Air......will return in a moment!!"....

I didn't think so!!

It Has Always Frightened Me When Bad Television Programmers Give Highly Detailed, Technical Explanations As To Why Their Television Programming Is So Bad. Yet They Think It's Good

Brand Filter - I suspect that there is indeed such a thing as a..."Brand Filter"....in overall television jargon but it has been so skewed over in actual definition by Bonnie Hammer in her operations of  USA and SyFy  that it has unfortunately taken on the ominous and unfortunate identity of simply meaning..."Bad Television"....on both the USA and SyFy Channels.

What has been the end results of applying this philosophy of..."Brand Filter".... (in television programming) to the SyFy Channel's schedule despite Ms. Hammer's sunny and rosy (and probably skewed) technical explanation of it?

1. Wrestling
2. Crossing Over With John Edward
3. Ghost Adventures
4. Marcel's Quantum Kitchen
5. Dream Team
6. Haunted Highway
7. Sharknado
8. Z Nation
9. Helix
10. 12 Monkeys
11. Into The Crapper With Wil Wheaton
12. William Shatner's Full Moon Fright Night
13. Sharktopus
14. Scare Tactics
15. C.S.I. reruns
15. Any low budget horror movie made by..."The Asylum"...
16. Ronald D. Moore's "GINO" - (Galactica in Name Only) series

Not a pretty picture, is it?

From my vantage point (the television viewer)....

Brand Filter = Bad Television Programming

Kudos To The SyFy Channel For Always Striving To Attain And Sustain The "Status Quo Mediocrity" And (Lack Of Aspirations) 99% Of The Time In Its Television Programming

This has..."Into The Crapper With Wil Wheaton"....written all over it. Yet another half-ass attempt by the SyFy Channel to produce an information based news service on the goings on in the realm of Science Fiction. The problem with this show right off the bat of course, is in its title. "Nerd" is an elitist, status quo insult by those in the media who regard Science Fiction fans as..."Nerds." This has been the SyFy Channel's dysfunctional business problem from day one and the reason why it has been as unsuccessful as it has been for 15 years, routinely attaining nothing more than its..."Status Quo Self Comfortable State of Mediocrity"....in television programming. "Nerd" is also used by those in the media who are fearful of Science Fiction because it requires sustained imagination and inspired thinking to be monumentally profitable at all times within the realm of Science Fiction which the SyFy Channel has repeatedly....FAILED TO DO....for 15 consecutive years. So those in the media who are routinely unprofitable at a noteworthy level (SyFy) when attempting Science Fiction are also routinely prejudicial against it.

It's a psychological way of licking one's own wounds at the corporate level.

I'll give..."Nerdist News"....three or four episodes before its cancellation just like every other hunk of junk on the SyFy Channel with a $1.98 production budget created in that..."Corporate Vacuum of Zero Talent / Zero Taste / Zero Imagination / and Zero Inspired Thinking"....at NBC-Universal.
