problem is three fold
1) It can only be a theatrical movie
2) The Budget needed to make OBSG fans happy would be in the upper 200mill area
3) The Glen A Larson family own the rights to the movie version and it is up to them to decide what to do. Not universal

1. And yet Universal Studios has no problem reissuing fake Battlestar movie press releases ad nauseum every two years, even when they supposedly no longer own the property.
2. Is the Larson family so stupid that they can't see the cash cow they are sitting on with this property?
3. Does Universal Studios actually adhere to some form of financial morality if they have long since decided to veto a $200 million dollar Battlestar movie? Its budget being too much? Is this the same Universal Studios that threw financial morality out the window (always for spur of the moment convenience sake with them) when greenlighting the $200 million R.I.P.D. movie? Based upon an untried and untested Dark Horse comic book concept as opposed to the 1978 Battlestar series ingrained in everyone's pop culture

psyche except Universal Studios oblivious psyche for four decades.

Read the books Universal Studios has tried and failed to censor on Amazon.com...

And read the books at another location where Universal Studios executives and its stealth marketers won't be able to post negative, misleading (stealth marketed) reviews of the books via them purchasing candy and Rogaine Foam on Amazon.com (allowing them access to the book review section) and not actually buying and reading the books.
I'll leave the other 200 locations under wraps for now.
