The SyFy Channel Never Should Have Been On The Job Training For Bonnie Hammer, David Howe, And Mark Stern

From day one, the SyFy Channel, (and the Sci-Fi Channel as managed by Bonnie Hammer) has always felt like it was being managed by idiots who (1) didn't know how to manage a Science Fiction channel and (2) managed by idiots who were learning on the job as they went but never actually learned on the job as they went. Maybe in the future, if Comcast has enough clout to staff the channels they now partially own, will actually staff their channels with people actually qualified to run and manage their channels.

Their idea of utilizing the "Battlestar Galactica" property is to decimate it with the useless pieces of crap Ronald D. Moore came up with. They think there is some value in wasting the shareholder's money on badly produced and badly written monster movies. Ditto (s) for WWF Wrestling, "Marcel's Quantum Kitchen", and "Fact or Faked?" To this very day, no one has any idea what sort of channel the SyFy Channel is. In their quest and dream to make the SyFy Channel a demographic wet dream for all things to all people, they made a faceless cable channel devoid of any on-air identity, littered with programming crap of all shapes and sizes.

Perhaps the time has come for the SyFy Channel to cease being an on the job training breeding ground for marketers poorly disguised as television programmers (Bonnie Hammer, David Howe, and Mark Stern) who really suck at experimenting with abstract marketing and demographic theories, and translating their faulty findings into shitty television programming.
