Bryan Singer Never Had Any Intention Of Doing "Battlestar Galactica" Before "Excalibur" Died

http://www.firstshowing.net/2011/bryan-singers-battlestar-galactica-getting-life-after-excalibur-dies/

From the article, it is very clear that he had abandoned the "Battlestar Galactica" movie project he was supposed to begin in 2009, to direct "Jack The Giant Killer." It is also very clear that he fully intended for "Excalibur" to be his next movie project immediately after "Jack The Giant Killer." "Battlestar Galactica" wasn't even on his horizon before "Excalibur" died.

I'm sorry, but I have no enthusiasm for this idiot who may eventually get his hands on "Battlestar Galactica." An idiot who placed the "Battlestar Galactica" movie so low on his priority list, that as of two months ago, he wouldn't even consider working on it because "Excalibur" was still on his immediate horizon. This indicates to me that Bryan Singer never had an interest in doing a "Battlestar Galactica" movie at all, and the only reason why he may be doing such a movie right now, is because everything else on his priority list dried up.

And this idiot is the best that Universal Studios could get to direct a "Battlestar Galactica" movie? What sort of "Battlestar Galactica" movie would get made by a director who really doesn't have genuine interest or enthusiasm for the project at all? A "Battlestar Galactica" movie with a decimated core premise, a bad script, bad casting, bad directing, bad producing, and bad everything else. If this movie gets made at all, it will be a quickie little romp to the drive-thru window at "Burger King" for Bryan Singer. A quickie little B-Movie for Bryan Singer to keep himself busy until "Excalibur" might get the green light again. This movie is a time killer for Bryan Singer, if it gets made at all.
