Green - Deficient in sophistication and savoir faire: Deficient in training, knowledge or experience: Naive: Not fully qualified for or experienced in a particular function.

-Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary

Yes, Universal Studios fumbling of the "Battlestar Galactica" property for the past 33 years can most definitely be considered "Green."

Everyone who has ever come into contact with "Battlestar Galactica" at Universal Studios and SyFy Channel has repeatedly demonstrated that internal corporate talent for keeping the train crash going for decades after the train crash first manifest itself in the summer of 1979. And the train crash is continuing with the latest news that Bryan Singer wants a third attempt at making a "Battlestar Galactica" movie if he doesn't bail out on it for a third time.

I think the one segment of the definition of "Green" that really nails on the head how Universal Studios and SyFy Channel have been towards "Battlestar Galactica" is:

"Not fully qualified for or experienced in a particular function."
